Cyberpunk 2077 still costs €49.99 (no fees) on the PlayStation Store, with no discount in sight. Its expansion is another matter: the Phantom Liberty code is at the lowest price we've seen, €17.09 with coupon SEPGOC10 (€18.80 with fees) at Kinguin, against €29.99 on Sony's store. And if you just want to try the genre, Nobody Wants to Die is €4.99 (no fees) on the PlayStation Store.
Below are fourteen cyberpunk games you can play on PS5 today, from Night City to a cat lost among robots. Every one has a PS5 page on Gocdkeys with live offers. The review scores come from Steam, so they are for the PC version, which is where most players leave one. For each game we give you the official store price, the cheapest alternative and whether it's worth buying now.
Code, shared account or disc: what you actually get on PS5
For most of these games the PlayStation Store is the reference: the game goes straight to your PSN account and there are no fees. A PSN Key from a reseller is a code you redeem on the console, but it's locked to a country. A UK or Italian code won't work on a Spanish account, so check the region before you pay.
An Account is access to someone else's PSN account that already owns the game. It's nearly always the cheapest thing on sale and we mention it every time, but the game never becomes yours, so we'd take the code or the store instead. A few games also have a cheap physical edition, which only helps if your PS5 has a disc drive. PlayStation Store prices are from the Spanish store; historical lows and medians are quoted without fees.
Night City and other long role-playing games
Cyberpunk 2077 and Phantom Liberty
The obvious place to start. In Cyberpunk 2077, CD PROJEKT RED puts you in Night City as V, a mercenary with a chip in their head that carries the ghost of Johnny Silverhand. It's an open-world RPG full of implants, gangs and side stories that are often better than the main one. On Steam it's Very Positive, 87% of 884,672 reviews, far more than any other game here.
The base game costs €49.99 (no fees) on the PlayStation Store, and nobody sells a code for less right now. GamesPSN has an account for €9.22 (no fees), with the usual catch that the account isn't yours.
The deal is in the expansion. Phantom Liberty is a spy thriller set in Dogtown, a new district, and it scores even higher: 89% of 22,368 reviews. Kinguin sells the PSN Key for €17.09 with coupon SEPGOC10 (€18.80 with fees), 10% below its usual €18.99 and never lower in the 190 days we've tracked it. Two things to know: Kinguin lists it as an Italian code, so it only redeems on an Italian PSN account, and you need the base game. Soul Hackers 2
ATLUS, the Persona studio, went cyberpunk with Soul Hackers 2: Ringo, an agent created by an AI called Aion, recruits demons and fights turn-based battles against rival summoners. Steam players are split on it. It's Mixed, 65% of 2,301 reviews, the lowest score in this guide.
The price, on the other hand, is fair. The PlayStation Store has it at €11.99 (no fees), and in the 37 days we have data for it was only cheaper on seven; the low was €4.99 on 12 May. Difmark's account costs €10.07 with coupon Gocdkeys (€10.52 with fees), too small a gap to give up owning it.
Citizen Sleeper
You are a human mind copied into a robot body that belongs to a corporation, and you've just run away to the Eye, a half-abandoned space station. Citizen Sleeper, by Jump Over The Age, is a narrative RPG where every morning you roll dice and decide what to spend them on: work, repairs, favours for people you barely know. Very Positive, 92% of 8,282 reviews.
Don't buy it today. It's €19.99 (no fees) on the PlayStation Store, and on each of the 28 days we've tracked it the price was lower than now; on 16 July it was €5.99. Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector
The sequel takes the idea off the station. In Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector you have a ship, a crew and jobs across the Starward Belt, and a body that falls apart the harder you push it. Same studio, 91% positive out of 2,365 reviews.
Same advice as for the first one. The PlayStation Store asks €24.99 (no fees); it was cheaper on 28 of the 30 days we have, and on 16 July it cost €12.49. The Difmark account is €16.79 with coupon Gocdkeys (€17.55 with fees).
Shooters and a station run by a hostile AI
RoboCop: Rogue City
Teyon made the RoboCop game fans of the films had been asking for. In RoboCop: Rogue City you walk slowly, soak up bullets and clean up Old Detroit in first person, with Peter Weller voicing the character again. Very Positive, 86% of 28,292 reviews.
The PlayStation Store asks €39.99 (no fees), and we've only been following that price for three days, so we can't tell you yet whether it's high. GamesPSN sells an account for €5.44 (no fees). That's a huge gap, but if you want the game on your own account, set an alert and wait for a store sale.
Metal Eden
Reikon Games, who made Ruiner, went first-person this time. Metal Eden puts you in the metal body of Aska, an android built for war, in a shooter that never lets you stand still: wall-running, dashing, grappling hook. Very Positive, 83% of 1,947 reviews.
Bad timing, though. It's €19.99 (no fees) on the PlayStation Store, it was cheaper on 32 of the 33 days we've tracked, and on 10 September it went for €4.99. Difmark's account costs €12.59 with coupon Gocdkeys (€13.16 with fees). Wait for the next sale.
System Shock
One of the games that taught everyone else how cyberpunk works on a screen, rebuilt from scratch by Nightdive Studios. In System Shock you wake up on Citadel Station and SHODAN, the AI that runs it, wants the whole crew dead. Few instructions, lots of backtracking and several ways through every problem. Very Positive, 90% of 9,807 reviews.
It's €11.99 (no fees) on the PlayStation Store, and in the 16 days we've tracked it that has always been its lowest price. Difmark's account is €10.49 with coupon Gocdkeys (€10.96 with fees), barely any cheaper. Buying now makes sense.
System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster
SHODAN is back in System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster, Nightdive's update of the sequel. This time you're on the starship Von Braun, the crew has turned into something else, and there are skills and psi powers to level up. 87% of 1,801 reviews.
€16.49 (no fees) on the PlayStation Store, which is the lowest we've seen in 36 days. The Difmark account costs €13.85 with coupon Gocdkeys (€14.47 with fees).
Detectives, crime scenes and rain
Nobody Wants to Die
In a 24th-century New York where the rich no longer die, because they move their mind into a new body, you play detective James Karra. Nobody Wants to Die, by Critical Hit Games, is a noir story with a device that lets you rewind crime scenes and rebuild what happened. Very Positive, 83% of 5,830 reviews.
It's the cheapest game in this guide: €4.99 (no fees) on the PlayStation Store, the lowest we've seen. Difmark's account is €4.19 with coupon Gocdkeys (€4.38 with fees), which isn't worth it to save 61 cents. You can buy Nobody Wants to Die key from our page and have it on your account today.
Shadows of Doubt
Shadows of Doubt, by ColePowered Games, has no script: the city generates its own murders, and to solve them you break into flats, go through bins, lift fingerprints and follow residents who each have their own routine. Very Positive, 82% of 14,662 reviews.
The digital version is €24.99 (no fees) on the PlayStation Store, but it dropped to €12.49 on 28 July. If your PS5 has a disc drive, the physical edition at Amazon DE costs €9.99 (no fees), the cheapest way to get it today. Otherwise, set a price alert for Shadows of Doubt.
Tales of the Neon Sea
Pixel art, constant rain and Rex, an ex-cop looking into a string of crimes in a city where humans and robots get on badly and the cats run their own gang. Tales of the Neon Sea, by YiTi Games, is a point-and-click detective adventure with plenty of puzzles. Very Positive, 84% of 3,858 reviews.
€19.99 (no fees) on the PlayStation Store, and Difmark's account is €12.59 with coupon Gocdkeys (€13.16 with fees). Our history for this game mixes formats, so we can't say how good the store price is.
Lighter picks: a cat, some rollerblades and a neon agent
Stray
You're a cat. In Stray, by BlueTwelve Studio, you fall into a walled city where only robots are left, and with the help of B-12, a small drone, you try to find your way out. It's short and calm, with light puzzles, and players love it: Overwhelmingly Positive, 97% of 157,721 reviews.

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk
Team Reptile's love letter to Jet Set Radio. In Bomb Rush Cyberfunk you cross New Amsterdam on a skateboard, inline skates or a BMX, tagging walls and running from rival crews and the police, with a soundtrack that includes Hideki Naganuma. It's the best-rated game here: Overwhelmingly Positive, 98% of 12,660 reviews.
The digital version is badly timed: €39.99 (no fees) on the PlayStation Store, when on every one of the 14 days we've tracked it was cheaper, and on 16 July it cost €19.99. The disc at Amazon UK is €17.21 (no fees).
Anomaly Agent
Anomaly Agent is a 2D action platformer from Phew Phew Games with neon pixel art everywhere. You're Agent 70, fighting your way through a city full of time anomalies. Very Positive, 94% of 9,470 reviews.
€13.99 (no fees) on the PlayStation Store, but it was cheaper on all 18 days we've tracked, and it hit €4.19 on 28 June. Difmark's account is €9.40 with coupon Gocdkeys (€9.82 with fees). Wait for the next sale.

What we'd buy with €20, €30 or more
With under €30 you can take three home today from the PlayStation Store: Nobody Wants to Die at €4.99, System Shock at €11.99 and Soul Hackers 2 at €11.99, all with no fees. That's €28.97, and the first two are at the lowest price we've recorded.
If you already own Cyberpunk 2077, Phantom Liberty at €17.09 with coupon SEPGOC10 (€18.80 with fees) is the best buy in the whole guide, as long as the Italian code fits your account. System Shock 2 at €16.49 (no fees) is also at its lowest. Cyberpunk 2077 itself, at €49.99 (no fees), is the one big purchase here with no discount behind it.
And there's a waiting list: Citizen Sleeper, Citizen Sleeper 2, Metal Eden, Anomaly Agent, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk and Shadows of Doubt have all been much cheaper on the PlayStation Store in the last few weeks. For the last two, the disc is the cheaper route if you have a drive. For RoboCop we don't have enough history yet.
