Night City is the obvious place to start, but cyberpunk on PC goes a long way beyond it: dice-driven novels on a dying space station, a detective sim where every flat in the city can be broken into, a cat lost among robots. Here are fifteen of them with what each costs this morning. Several are close to free: Citizen Sleeper is €0.91 with the code Gocdkeys12 at HRKGame (€1.31 with fees), and the System Shock remake is €1.00 with OCTGOC10 at Kinguin (€1.43 with fees).
We started from PC games that carry the Cyberpunk tag on Steam and have live offers on Gocdkeys, and kept the ones that are worth your time. Scores are the share of positive Steam reviews, with the number of reviews in brackets, plus the Metacritic score Steam displays when there is one (a dash means there isn't). The Steam prices quoted are the ones we saw this morning, and Steam's autumn sale ends today, 8 October, at 7pm CEST (6pm in the UK). Expect several of them to go up after that.

The price column is the cheapest Steam Key unless the cell says otherwise. For Cyber Knights: Flashpoint, Hacknet and RUINER nobody beats Steam today, so the store itself is the best deal. Five games also have a Steam account on sale for less than the key. An account is the login of someone else's Steam account that already owns the game: you play from that profile, the game never enters your library, and if the seller recovers the account you lose it. Night City, Prague and Citadel Station: the big first-person RPGs
Cyberpunk 2077
CD Projekt Red's open-world RPG puts you in the boots of V, a mercenary with a chip in their head carrying the personality of Johnny Silverhand, played by Keanu Reeves. You can go in guns blazing, sneak around with quickhacks, or talk your way out of a good share of the trouble. The game you can buy today, after years of patches, is far more solid than the one that launched, and the Phantom Liberty expansion adds Dogtown and a spy story that many players rate as the best part. On Steam it sits at 87% positive from 887,667 reviews, with 86 on Metacritic.
The cheapest key is the Steam Key at CJS-CDKeys for €17.25 with no fees, only slightly below the €17.99 Steam asks this morning. It has been much cheaper: the lowest key price we have on record is €3.82. Difmark sells a Steam account for €4.95 with the code Gocdkeys (€5.17 with fees). Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Adam Jensen is back, now in a Prague where people with augmentations are treated as second-class citizens and herded through checkpoints. Every mission gives you several ways in: vents, hacking a door, a conversation, or a straight fight using the augs you unlock. If you like exploring a level until you've found every route, this is the purest immersive sim on the list. The common complaint is the ending, which arrives too soon. Steam reviews are 77% positive out of 30,773, and Metacritic has it at 83.
Gameboost has the Steam Key for €2.61 with GCDK13 (€2.74 with fees). Steam wants €2.99, so the saving is small either way.
System Shock
Nightdive's remake of the Looking Glass classic from the nineties. You wake up aboard Citadel Station, where the AI SHODAN has turned the crew into mutants and cyborgs, and you work your way through the station deck by deck with audio logs, door codes and whatever weapons you scavenge. There's little hand-holding, and that's the point. 90% of its 9,843 Steam reviews are positive.
The gap to Steam is the biggest in this guide: €1.00 with OCTGOC10 at Kinguin (€1.43 with fees) for the Steam Key, against €11.74 on Steam this morning.
Turn-based crews: Shadowrun: Hong Kong and Cyber Knights: Flashpoint
Shadowrun: Hong Kong
The third Shadowrun game from Harebrained Schemes mixes cyberpunk with fantasy: elves, orcs and trolls share the streets with deckers who jack into the Matrix and shamans who call up spirits. You lead a small team through turn-based fights on isometric maps, and between missions you read a lot, much of it in the Kowloon Walled City. It's a game for people who like their RPGs with plenty of text. 86% positive from 3,603 Steam reviews, 81 on Metacritic.
Kinguin sells the Steam Key for €1.32 with OCTGOC10 (€1.78 with fees). That's the lowest price we've ever logged for it; Steam is at €4.99.
Cyber Knights: Flashpoint
Trese Brothers' tactics game is built around heists. You put together a crew of mercenaries, plan the job and try to get in quietly; when the alarm goes off, it becomes turn-based combat. Between jobs you recruit, upgrade your people and keep them alive. It has the best Steam score among the RPGs and tactics games here: 93% positive from 2,994 reviews.
This is one of the cases where Steam is the cheapest option: €17.39 this morning, with no fees. Keys for it usually go for about €28.99 (our median). Difmark has a Steam account at €8.39 with the code Gocdkeys (€8.77 with fees), but it won't be yours. If you want it, we'd buy it on Steam before the sale ends tonight.
Dice, cocktails and debt: Citizen Sleeper and The Red Strings Club
Citizen Sleeper
You are a Sleeper, a human mind copied into an artificial body that belongs to a corporation. You've fled to Erlin's Eye, a decaying space station, and each cycle you roll a handful of dice and spend them on work, repairs and conversations while your body slowly falls apart. It plays like a tabletop RPG without combat, and the writing carries it. 92% of 8,314 Steam reviews are positive, and it has 82 on Metacritic.
At HRKGame the Steam Key is €0.91 with Gocdkeys12 (€1.31 with fees), the cheapest it has ever been in our price history. Steam: €5.85.
Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector
The sequel gives you a ship and a crew. You're a different Sleeper on the run, taking contracts across the Starward Belt, and now there's stress: push your luck and your dice can break. It's bigger and tenser than the first game, and it shares the highest Metacritic score in this guide with Cyberpunk 2077: 86. On Steam, 91% of 2,379 reviews are positive.
Instant Gaming has the Steam Key for €1.20 with no fees. Steam charges €12.25, and the usual key price is €12.49 (median), so this is a real bargain. Difmark lists a Steam Gift at €0.93 with Gocdkeys (€0.97 with fees). Gifts are sent through Steam's gift system and often come with a region lock, so if you go for it, check the region on the offer. For 23 cents more, we'd take the key.
The Red Strings Club
Deconstructeam's pixel-art adventure happens mostly behind a bar. As Donovan, the bartender, you mix drinks to nudge your customers' moods and get them talking about a corporation that wants to fix people's emotions with implants. It's short, you can finish it in an evening or two, and the dialogue is the game. 93% positive from 12,822 Steam reviews, 80 on Metacritic.

Murders and terminals: two detective and hacking sims
Shadows of Doubt
A detective sim in a procedurally generated city where every resident has a flat, a job and a daily routine. When a body turns up, you dust for prints, go through the victim's address book, follow people, break into apartments and pin it all on a board until you have a name. Cases are generated, so there's always another one. Steam reviews: 82% positive out of 14,696.
Gamivo has the Steam Key for €4.37 with GCDKGamivo (€5.27 with fees), well below the €12.49 on Steam. Kinguin's Steam account costs €3.45 with OCTGOC10 (€4.07 with fees).
Hacknet
Hacking done with a terminal and nothing else. You type commands to scan networks, open ports and wipe your tracks, and the story starts with an automated email from Bit, a hacker who has died and left instructions behind. It's short and rather tense when a trace timer starts ticking. 93% of 16,942 Steam reviews are positive; 82 on Metacritic.
No key seller beats Steam today: €1.46 on the store itself.
Fast and violent: RUINER, SANABI and RoboCop
RUINER
A top-down action game from Reikon Games, published by Devolver. Fights are fast and punishing: dash, melee, guns and a shield, with enemies that kill you quickly. You play a man in a helmet that displays text instead of a face, guided by a hacker through a city in search of his kidnapped brother. 89% positive out of 10,376 reviews, 75 on Metacritic.
The store price wins here as well: €1.95 on Steam this morning.
SANABI
A 2D action platformer that revolves around a chain arm. You swing from ceilings, yank enemies towards you and fly through levels with almost no ground under your feet. The protagonist is a retired veteran hunting whoever is behind his daughter's death, and the story goes somewhere you won't see coming. Its Steam score is 97% positive from 41,927 reviews.
Gamivo sells the Steam Key for €3.67 with GCDKGamivo (€4.55 with fees). On Steam it's €8.11.
RoboCop: Rogue City
Teyon's first-person shooter puts you in RoboCop's armour, with Peter Weller voicing him again. You walk at RoboCop's pace, soak up bullets and empty the Auto-9 into Detroit's gangs; between shootouts there's detective work and side cases where you can write a ticket or let someone go. It's a film adaptation made by people who clearly love the film. 86% positive from 28,471 reviews, 76 on Metacritic.
Gameseal has the Steam Key for €1.26 with SEAL17CKD (€1.76 with fees), the lowest we've recorded. Steam: €3.99.
No guns needed: Stray and Bomb Rush Cyberfunk
Stray
You're a stray cat who falls into a walled city full of robots, long after the humans have gone. You climb, knock things off shelves, scratch doors and sleep on cushions, and with the drone B-12 on your back you can read signs and talk to the locals. The Zurks and a couple of stealth sections are the only tense moments. 97% positive from 158,039 Steam reviews, the second most reviewed game here after Cyberpunk 2077, and 82 on Metacritic.
G2A has the Steam Key for €8.96 with GCKG2AT6V1P (€9.25 with fees), clearly below its usual €20.49 (median). Steam: €14.24. There's also a Steam account at Driffle for €5.87 with GOCDKEYS10 (€6.48 with fees). If you're after the key, buy Stray key from its page.
Bomb Rush Cyberfunk
Team Reptile made the Jet Set Radio sequel Sega never did. You skate, ride a BMX or a board, grind rails and tag walls across the city while the police come after you, with music by Hideki Naganuma among others. It has the best Steam score in this guide: 98% positive from 12,677 reviews.
Today it's a game to wait on. The cheapest key is €4.09 with no fees at CDKeys.com, which looks great next to Steam's €19.99, but keys normally sell for €2.66 (median) and we've seen €2.05. Kinguin has a Steam account at €3.32 with OCTGOC10 (€3.93 with fees). We'd set a price alert and let it come to us.
Which of the fifteen we'd buy this morning
For under two euros each, fees included, you can have Citizen Sleeper, Citizen Sleeper 2, System Shock, RoboCop: Rogue City and Shadowrun: Hong Kong. Three of them are at the lowest prices we've recorded, and Citizen Sleeper 2 is about a tenth of its Steam price.
Cyber Knights: Flashpoint, Hacknet and RUINER are cheapest on Steam, and with the sale ending at 7pm CEST, today is the day for those. Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is the one to leave on an alert. If you also play on console, we've done the same exercise with the best cyberpunk games on PS5.
