PC, PS5 and Xbox do not get the same treatment

What if you would rather have the PS5 disc?
PS5 is the only version getting a physical release, and it shows up as an ordinary retail purchase rather than a code. Worth it if you want something to keep or sell on later. If you only want to play it, digital usually arrives earlier and costs less.

Will a European code work outside Europe?
Do not count on it. The region is part of what you are paying for, and a regional code can simply refuse to redeem. It is far and away the most common way a purchase turns into a dead code.
