Sonic X Shadow Generations is in the September Humble Choice. The monthly bundle costs $14.99, stays up from September 1 to October 6, and hands over eight Steam keys at once. Frostpunk 2 is one of them; six more games fill out the rest of the selection.
Good news if you wanted both. Less obvious if you only came for the hedgehog, because the PC version is selling on its own for €7.73 this morning and we have never seen it that low.
What $14.99 gets you this month
Humble Choice is a subscription rather than a shop, so the small print is worth spelling out. You pay for September, the eight keys land in your account and they stay there. Skip October and nobody takes them back. The $14.99 is Humble's own figure, published in dollars, which is how we are quoting it here; what your bank ends up charging depends on your card and the day.
Two of the eight names carry the bundle on their own: SEGA's Sonic and Shadow double bill, and Frostpunk 2.
€7.73 is a record low on our page
We take one reading a day from the PC page and we have 127 of them, going back to April 28. In all that time the floor never slipped under €8.99. It sat frozen at €10.79 from August 12 to August 19, fell to €8.99 on August 25 and stayed put there until yesterday. This morning the cheapest offer asks €7.73 at Eneba: a plain Steam key, Global region, nothing attached to it. Lowest figure this page has ever shown us.
Steam's own store still wants €49.99. Between those two numbers sit 54 live offers spread across 21 stores, and the dearest of them asks €73.74 for exactly the same game. Look before you pay and the difference stays in your pocket.
Why the floor broke today, we cannot tell you. It broke on the same day the bundle went live, and that is as far as we will take it.

Three of the ten cheapest offers are Steam accounts
Cheap and cheap are not the same product here. Sort the PC page by price and three of the first ten are not selling you a key at all. Difmark at €8.99, Kinguin at €10.91 and G2A at €11.42 hand over a username and a password, and you play from a profile that belongs to a stranger. Your hours and your achievements go on his record, not yours. If he takes the profile back, or Valve closes it, the money goes with it.
One other label matters. Kinguin's €11.80 offer is a key locked to the United States, which will not activate on a European account. The rest of the top ten are ordinary keys: Gamivo at €8.48 for Europe, G2A at €9.77 for Europe, Difmark Digital Keys at €9.81, K4G at €10.04 and Lootbar at €13.58, those last three with no region limit.
Bundle or single copy: run the sums
So, the arithmetic. If Sonic X Shadow Generations is the only title on that list you would actually install, €7.73 beats $14.99 by a distance and you skip signing up for a subscription you would then have to remember to cancel. If Frostpunk 2 has been sitting on your wishlist since it came out, the maths flips over: two games you already wanted for $14.99 is hard to argue with, and the other six ride along.
Count how many of the eight you would genuinely put an evening into. The answer falls out of that number.
Consoles have not moved the same way
The discounting is happening on PC, and the other platforms make that obvious.

Xbox is the only one keeping close. PlayStation and Nintendo start at double the PC floor and climb from there, past triple it at the bottom of the table, and the newest Switch 2 edition has barely been touched. As for the game itself, Sonic Team developed it and SEGA published it on October 25. On Steam it holds an Overwhelmingly Positive verdict: 11,620 positive reviews out of 12,104, a ratio you do not run into often.
