Steam's Autumn Sale ends today, 8 October, at 10:00 PT (18:00 in the UK), and the Resident Evil 4 remake is one of its bigger cuts: €9.99 (no fees) instead of the usual €39.99 (no fees). Key stores still undercut it. This morning Gamivo has the Standard Edition as a Steam Key for €5.78 with coupon GCDKGamivo (€6.97 with fees), about 30% less than Steam.
Gamivo has the cheapest Steam Key this morning
You redeem the code on your own Steam account, so the game lands in your library like any other purchase. Type the coupon in Gamivo's basket or it will not apply. The with-fees figure assumes you pay by card; other methods can cost a little more or less.
Difmark looks cheaper at €5.54 with coupon Gocdkeys (€5.79 with fees), but that one is a Steam Account: the username and password of somebody else's account that owns the game. It never shows up on your profile, and you lose access the moment the owner changes the password. For €1.18 more, get the key.
What happens when the Steam sale ends tonight?
Steam goes back to €39.99 (no fees) and the gap to the Gamivo key grows to €33.02. The key itself is unlikely to jump. In our price history (no fees, no coupons), the monthly low across all formats has sat between €6.51 and €6.59 every month since April, long before this sale started.
The median key price in our records is €7.67 (no fees, no coupons). The lowest we have ever logged is €4.21, on 7 September three years ago. Of the 245 days we have on file, the key was cheaper than today on just one.
Steam drops it to €9.99 every few weeks
If you would rather buy on Steam, there is no rush there either. It was €9.99 (no fees) from 1 to 10 July, from 21 July to 4 August, from 8 to 22 September and again since 2 October, and €39.99 in between. Even at that sale price, Steam costs more than today's Gamivo key.
Is Separate Ways worth adding?
Separate Ways is the DLC with Ada Wong's campaign. YUPLAY sells it as a Steam Key for €6.77 (no fees), while Steam asks €9.99 (no fees) today. Our history (no fees, no coupons) puts the key's low at €6.42 on 14 May and its median at €7.05, so today is 35 cents off the best we have seen.
Base game plus DLC as keys comes to €13.74 with fees. If you have never played the remake, start with the main game and decide on Ada's side of the story later.
Every store selling the DLC is on the Separate Ways page.
