Persona 4 Revival finally has a date: 18 February. That leaves a little over five months, and the resale stores have been taking preorders for a while now, so the question for anyone with it parked in a wishlist is not whether you can pay early. It is whether what you would pay today is any good.
Our PC page holds 16 live offers from 9 stores. That is a short page and we are not going to dress it up as anything else. It behaves like one, too: a handful of prices that have hardly moved since preorders opened.
The cheapest preorder that ends up yours
Eneba wants €36.71 for a Steam key of the standard edition, coupon Gocdkeys10 already counted in. Kinguin follows at €37.48, and its own store listing says the preorder bonus is included. Then Gamivo at €38.28 and Driffle at €38.68. All four of those are Europe keys.
Above them the page jumps. G2A asks €49.05 for a Europe key and €49.85 for a Global one; CDKeys asks €53.09 for Europe and €56.59 for Global. Nearly twenty euros between the cheapest genuine key and the dearest, for the same standard edition.
Steam asks €69.99 for the standard edition
That is the number on Valve's own page, and Eneba's €36.71 sits 47% under it. For a game nobody has played yet, that is a wide gap. It is worth knowing where it comes from instead of reading it as luck: a resale seller buys keys wherever they are cheapest, prices against the seller next to him, and a preorder hands him five months to move whatever stock he is holding.
Europe or Global, and the euros between them
Almost everything cheap here is a Europe key. Regional means exactly what it says. The code redeems on a Steam account registered in that region and on no other, so if your account lives outside Europe then €36.71 is not your price and the code gets refused at redemption. It does not fail quietly a week later; it fails at the door.
The cheapest Global option is G2A's at €49.85, which is €13.14 above Eneba's Europe key. Inside CDKeys the same step is shorter: €53.09 for Europe, €56.59 for Global, €3.50 apart. Check where your Steam account is registered before you decide which of those figures belongs to you.
The €34.60 at the top is somebody else's login
Difmark sits above the whole page at €34.60, and that is not a copy of the game. It is a shared Steam account. You sign in to an account that belongs to the seller, nothing lands in your library, there is no code to redeem, and the password changes whenever he feels like changing it.
On a preorder that is worse than usual. You would be paying today for an access that has to still be alive on 18 February, five months out, and for however long after that you plan to play. It saves €2.11 against Eneba's key. Take it out of the comparison and Persona 4 Revival starts at €36.71 on PC.
The Steam Gift route has the same problem and costs more: €61.86 at G2A, cheapest of them. A gift leaves the seller's own account, which means a friend request, a wait and a region that has to match. Across five months, that is a lot of moving parts.
The Digital Deluxe costs 80 cents more than Steam's standard
The upper editions exist in one place only. CDKeys has the Digital Deluxe at €70.79 and the Digital Premium at €82.59. Read the first of those twice: €70.79 for a Deluxe key at a reseller, when the standard edition bought straight from Steam is €69.99. Eighty cents.
What those two editions actually contain is not something we hold, and we are not going to guess. If they interest you, read the contents on the official page and then come back to compare.
There are no reviews yet, and we are not inventing any
There is no Steam verdict for this page, for the plainest reason there is: the game has not come out and it does not have a single review. We are not going to make one up. There is no Metacritic score either, and no critic quote we could stand behind. What is confirmed is short and dull — ATLUS is making it, SEGA is publishing it, it is a new version of Persona 4, and it arrives on 18 February.
The history is just as quiet. Over the last 90 days the lowest store price we have recorded is €40.69 before any coupon, and that floor has not given way in three months. So there is no pattern here suggesting that a few more weeks of waiting buys you a discount.
One last thing to be clear on before you click. A resale preorder is charged today and delivered on release day: your money leaves now, the code arrives in February. If that suits you, buy Persona 4 Revival key at €36.71 from Eneba is the cheapest copy on the page that ends up in your own library. If your Steam account is registered outside Europe, your real starting point is the €49.85 Global key at G2A, and the saving against Steam looks rather different from there.
