Peglin is on sale on Steam as part of a promotion from publisher IndieArk, which has cut several of its games by up to 80%. Steam is selling it for €11.70 (no fees), the lowest price we've recorded for it. We haven't been able to confirm when the sale ends. What makes this one worth a post is that, for once, the resellers can't really undercut the official store.
What Peglin is
Peglin is a roguelike from Red Nexus Games built on pachinko, with a deckbuilder's habit of collecting things along the way. You play a peglin, a little green goblin, and you attack by firing orbs at a board full of pegs: every peg the orb hits adds damage to the enemy you're facing. Between fights you pick up relics and new orbs, and upgrade the ones you already have, so each run plays out a little differently. It's been out of early access for a while and is on its 1.0 version.
Steam players rate it Very Positive, with 83% of 16,689 reviews in its favour.
€11.70 on Steam, matching its lowest ever
A Steam Key for Peglin usually goes for around €19.50, which is the median of our price history (fees aren't included in those historical figures). At €11.70 it's 40% below that and level with the lowest price we've seen, which it first hit on 25 June. In 149 days of tracking we've never seen it cheaper.
The odd part is what's missing. This morning no reseller has a Steam Key for Peglin in stock, so Steam is the only place selling one. Every option is on the page to buy Peglin key for PC.
Steam Gifts and an account: how close the resellers get
What the resellers do have are Steam Gifts. A Gift is a copy of the game sent to you through Steam itself, usually as a link or via the seller's inventory; you accept it and Peglin appears in your library. A Gift can be locked to a region, so check before paying. G2A, for example, sells separate versions for Europe, North America and the whole world.

So the best Gift saves you 19 cents over Steam. That's not worth the extra step, or the region check.
There's also a Steam account at Difmark for €3.35 with the Gocdkeys coupon (€3.50 with fees). An account means you get the login to someone else's Steam account that already has the game. You can play it, but the account isn't yours and the game never lands in your own library. If that trade-off doesn't bother you, it's by far the cheapest way in; if you want Peglin on your own account, it isn't an option.
Switch and PS5 versions
Peglin is on consoles too, though there's no sale there in our data. For Peglin on Switch we only have accounts: Key4Games at €11.55 with GOCDKEYS15 (€12.32 with fees) and Difmark at €13.43 with Gocdkeys (€14.03 with fees). The PS5 version costs €19.99 (no fees) on the PlayStation Store, and the cheapest offer is again an account, Key4Games at €10.11 with GOCDKEYS15 (€10.82 with fees).
On PC, buy it from Steam: €11.70, on your own account, with no region to worry about. If you're reading this after the sale has ended, set a price alert for Peglin and we'll email you when it drops again.
