Marvel's Wolverine comes out tomorrow, 15 September, and only on PS5. It's made by Insomniac Games, the studio behind Marvel's Spider-Man, and reviews are already out, so there's more to go on than trailers. What you can't do, at least not yet, is get a discount on a copy that's actually yours.
A 79 average and a split verdict
When we checked OpenCritic today, Wolverine had a critic average of 79 from 73 reviews, with 71% of critics recommending it. That puts it in the site's "Strong" category. Expect those numbers to shift over the first few days as more reviews come in.
The average hides a fairly divided reception. The combat generally goes down well, though a lot of reviewers say it gets repetitive before the end, and complaints about uneven pacing come up often. Logan himself fares better: the way Insomniac writes the character, and the story built around him, tends to be singled out as a strength. At the extremes, you'll find the odd perfect score alongside outlets that find the whole thing old-fashioned.
Owning it on launch day costs €79.99
Prices here were read on 14 September at around 05:50 UTC and can change. We found three offers, which is not much to compare, and only one of them gives you a copy of your own.
That one is PlayStation Store: €79.99, no fees, as a PSN Key. It's a preorder, so the game is delivered on release day. There are no resale PSN Keys and no boxed copies in our comparison right now.
The other two are shared PS5 accounts:

What you give up with a shared PS5 account
With a shared account you don't buy the game. You sign in on your PS5 with a PlayStation Network user that belongs to someone else, and you play the game from that account.
Difmark's offer is €32.60 cheaper than the PSN Key, which is a real difference. But the game never appears in your own profile, and the seller can take the access away whenever they like. If that happens, the game goes with it. We always recommend the copy that stays in your account, and today that means the €79.99 one at PlayStation Store.
Waiting for the reviews to settle
If a 79 and all that talk of repetition leave you in two minds, there's no rush. Reviews keep arriving in the first days after launch, and the picture will be clearer with more of them.
We can't tell you whether the price is going to fall. We've been following the game since 17 June, but that isn't enough data to show any trend, and we'd rather say so than guess. What you can do is set a price alert, and we'll let you know if a cheaper copy shows up. If resellers start offering PSN Keys, they'll turn up on our buy Marvel's Wolverine key page.
