Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage joined Game Pass on 10 September, PC Game Pass included, with Play Anywhere support. If you already subscribe, you can play it today without spending anything else for as long as it stays in the catalogue. If you want to own it, the version worth buying depends on where you play, and on PC it isn't the one with World Stage in its name.
Out since last October, on Game Pass since 10 September
World Stage originally came out on 30 October last year on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC through Steam, at $19.99. The Switch 2 version followed in March. The game is developed by RGG Studio, the Ryu Ga Gotoku team, and published by SEGA.
R.E.V.O. and World Stage are the same game on Steam
The names cause some confusion, so to put it plainly: on Steam, Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. came out on 27 January last year, and every copy was later updated to World Stage for free. A Steam Key sold as "Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O." gives you World Stage today.
What World Stage adds
The update brings a single-player mode of the same name, in which you work through a series of opponents who get progressively stronger. For online play, the game has rollback netcode and cross-platform matches.
OpenCritic keeps the two apart. There, R.E.V.O. on PC averages 71 from 23 reviews, while World Stage averages 81 from 16. On Steam, the PC version is rated Mostly Positive, with 1,345 positive and 550 negative reviews.
On PC, resellers are asking more than usual
Prices below were read on 14 September at around 05:50 UTC and may have changed since. Steam sells the standard edition at €19.99, no fees. These are the offers we found for PC:

Difmark's €8.42 is a shared account: you log in to someone else's Steam user, the game never reaches your library, and the seller can remove your access.
For keys, today is a poor day to buy. Our history puts the median at €9.99 and the lowest price at €8.28, on 20 August, both without fees. Eneba's €12.38 before fees is 24% above that median, and in the 211 days we've tracked it, the key has been cheaper than today on 201. The monthly lows below mix every offer and format, and leave out fees and coupons:

The 30th Anniversary Edition on PC and Xbox
This edition adds the Legendary Pack, a Yakuza series pack, exclusive swimsuits, making-of material, commemorative music and titles for ranked mode. On PC it's available as a Steam Key from Eneba at €18.44 with coupon Gocdkeys10 (€20.57 with fees), just 58 cents more than the standard edition on Steam. Instant Gaming asks €33.99 and Humble Bundle €35.99, both with no fees.
Almost everything we find for World Stage on Xbox is this edition. Microsoft Store sells it at €39.99, no fees, as an Xbox key, and Kinguin at €28.87 with coupon SEPGOC10 (€31.52 with fees), an Xbox key for the US region. The only cheaper Xbox option is a shared account from Difmark at €12.59 with coupon Gocdkeys (€13.16 with fees). On PS5, the only offer we see is another Difmark shared account at the same price.

If you already pay for Game Pass, start there. If you'd rather own it on PC, the buy Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. key page has every Steam offer, but with keys sitting well above their usual price, it makes sense to set a price alert and wait for something nearer €10.
