FuturLab has another add-on on the way for PowerWash Simulator 2, and this time the dirt is on Barbie's toys. The Barbie Pack is due later this year on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. There is no firm date and no price yet, but you can already add it to your wishlist.
Five Mattel playsets to scrub down
The pack brings five new cleaning jobs, each based on a classic Mattel playset. Three have been named so far: the DreamHouse, the Dream Camper and the Dream Boat. The other two haven't been shown.
Alongside the jobs you get a Barbie pressure washer, a character outfit with a 90s look and some themed gear for the awkward spots, including a rappelling kit and a scissor lift.
Solo, split screen or four-player co-op
The new jobs play like the rest of the game. You can clean on your own, share the screen with a second player, or bring in up to four people in co-op. As with any DLC, you need PowerWash Simulator 2 on the same platform, and the pack goes onto the account that owns the game.
Why a shared account is a poor fit for this DLC
That last detail matters if you don't own the base game yet. On PC, the three cheapest offers are Steam Accounts: Itemku at €1.75 (€2.31 with fees), Difmark at €4.61 with the coupon Gocdkeys (€4.82 with fees) and G2A at €5.33 with the coupon GCKG2AH9K2L (€5.62 with fees). What you buy there is the login to somebody else's Steam account with the game on it. We can't say what each seller allows, but a Barbie Pack bought on that account would stay on an account that isn't yours.
If you plan to get the pack, a Steam Key is the safer route, since the game goes into your own library. The cheapest one once fees are added is at G2A: €15.25 with the coupon GCKG2AH9K2L (€15.54 with fees), Steam Key, Global. HRKGame shows the lowest price before fees, €14.21 with the coupon Gocdkeys12, but you pay €16.55 with fees. Gamivo comes in at €14.53 with the coupon GCDKGamivo (€16.03 with fees) and Eneba at €14.86 with the coupon Gocdkeys10 (€16.68 with fees), a Steam Key for Europe.
If you'd rather avoid payment fees altogether, Instant Gaming asks €16.89 (no fees), and Green Man Gaming and Humble Bundle both ask €19.99 (no fees), all Steam Keys. Every shop we track is on our page to buy PowerWash Simulator 2 key.
Xbox and PS5 prices for the base game
The Microsoft Store sells the Xbox version for €24.99 (no fees). Eneba has an Xbox Key for Europe at €18.43 with the coupon Gocdkeys10 (€20.56 with fees), and a US-region one at €17.50 (€19.55 with fees); read the region conditions on the shop page before picking that one. Difmark (€6.26 with the coupon Gocdkeys, €6.54 with fees) and Kinguin (€6.71 with the coupon SEPGOC10, €7.59 with fees) sell accounts, which leaves you with the same DLC problem as on PC.
On PS5, the PlayStation Store asks €24.99 (no fees) for the PSN Key. The only cheaper offer we track is an Account at Difmark, €13.43 with the coupon Gocdkeys (€14.55 with fees). We don't have a page for the Switch 2 version, so no prices there.
What the previous pack cost
FuturLab hasn't said what the Barbie Pack will cost. The closest reference is the last DLC, the Adventure Time Pack, which is €7.99 (no fees) on Steam today. In our records (prices without fees) it dropped to €6.79 from 21 to 23 July and again from 28 August to 10 September, and sat at €7.99 the rest of the time. It hasn't gone down that well with players: Steam reviews are "Mixed", with 52% of 348 positive.
