Milestone put Hot Wheels: Infinite Rush on PC on 10 September. On Xbox, PlayStation 5 and Switch 2 nothing has shipped: every console offer we track is a pre-order dated 24 September. Search for the game today and you land on four store pages with four completely different price pictures, and on one of them you cannot buy a download code at all.
PC is playable now, consoles ship on 24 September
The PC build is the only one you can install today. Our PC listing has 18 live offers across 11 stores: 11 Steam Key, 6 Steam Gift and a single Steam Account. Steam sells it directly at €49.99, no fees.
The other three pages are all pre-orders. The Xbox One version carries 22 offers in 12 stores, the PS5 version has four, and the Switch 2 version has two. You pay now, the store hands over the code on release day.

Once the card charge is on the bill, €1.51 separates the cheapest PC code from the cheapest PS5 one. The gaps that matter open up further down each page, not at the top of it.
Xbox looks cheaper than PC until you reach the checkout
On base price Xbox wins. Gamivo's PC / Xbox Key is €35.53 with the coupon GCDKGamivo, 46 cents under the cheapest Steam Key anywhere. Then Gamivo adds €2.23 in payment fees and the bill reads €37.76. Driffle takes €1.70 on its €35.99 Steam Key, so you hand over €37.69. Seven cents, the other way round.
Seven cents is nothing. The habit it should break is worth a lot: whatever you sort by, read the number you will be charged, not the one on the sticker.
If you would rather skip the arithmetic, two stores add nothing at the end. CDKeys has the PC Steam Key at €38.29 and Instant Gaming at €38.49, both fee-free and both well under the €49.99 Steam asks. The same pair covers Xbox at €40.09 (PC / Xbox Key, CDKeys) and €40.99 (Xbox Key, Instant Gaming).
Two traps on the PC page. The headline cheapest line is a Steam Account from Difmark at €25.19 (€26.32 with fees) — that is logging into somebody else's account, the game never sits on your profile and access can be pulled. And Gamivo carries Steam Gift entries for the same standard edition at €75.75 with fees, more than Steam itself charges. Scroll past both and buy Hot Wheels Infinite Rush key instead.
One purchase that covers both PC and Xbox
Fifteen of the 22 Xbox offers are PC / Xbox Key, a single code that activates on Xbox and on PC. If you own both and have not bought the Steam version yet, that is the cheapest way to end up with the game twice over. Five more are plain Xbox Key, there is one account and one physical copy: Fnac ES lists the disc at €44.99, no fees.
There is also an Ultimate edition on the Xbox page, from Eneba, at €71.43 (€78.14 with fees, coupon Gocdkeys10). It is the only edition on any of the four pages that is not Standard, so nothing else in our prices compares with it.
Switch 2 has two offers and no download code
Two offers, two stores, and neither of them is a code. Difmark sells an Account at €33.59 (€35.10 with fees) and Fnac ES has the cartridge at €49.99, no fees. On Switch 2 there is currently no way to buy a key through our comparison, so the physical copy is the only purchase that genuinely stays yours.
PS5 is thin too, though at least a proper code exists: Kinguin's PSN Key at €35.99 (€39.20 with fees, coupon SEPGOC10), the PlayStation Store at €49.99 with no fees, Fnac ES on disc at €44.99, and the same Difmark Account at €33.59 (€35.10 with fees).
A Mostly Positive rating built on 33 reviews
Steam reads Mostly Positive: 25 of 33 reviews are positive, 8 are negative. Thirty-three, two days after release. A verdict built on that many reviews can flip over a single weekend. The three console pages have no Steam verdict at all — Steam does not collect console reviews — so on Xbox, PS5 and Switch 2 you are pre-ordering with nothing to read.
