Domesticated Ant Games put a free demo of Gravity Circuit 2 on Steam on 15 October, and the next day confirmed that the sequel is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 as well, on top of the PC, PS5 and Switch versions it had already announced. It's due next year. There's no date and no price yet.
If the demo leaves you wanting to play the first game while you wait, you don't need to hold out for a sale. This morning the cheapest Steam Key is at Difmark: €0.44 with coupon Gocdkeys (€0.46 with fees). Steam itself has it discounted to €5.94 (no fees).
What the Gravity Circuit 2 demo includes
It runs for roughly half an hour across two stages. You can play as Kai or as Cable, and the demo introduces switching between the two characters. It also adds more customisation options.
That's about all we know about the full game for now. The Switch 2 version was confirmed on 16 October, and the studio is still only saying "next year".
A quick look at the first Gravity Circuit
The original came out a little over three years ago, developed by Domesticated Ant Games and published by PID Games. It's a 2D action platformer that owes a lot to Mega Man X, and you play as Kai, a robot who does his fighting with his fists.
Players and critics both rate it highly. On Steam it sits at Very Positive, with 94% of 3,046 user reviews recommending it. On OpenCritic it has 88/100 and the "Mighty" badge, from 14 critics, every one of whom recommends it.
Steam discounts it every few weeks
The full price on Steam is €16.99, and right now it's 65% off at €5.94. Looking back over the last few months (Steam prices, no fees):
- €6.79 in late June and again in mid-July
- €5.94 from 28 August to 12 September
- €5.94 from 2 to 9 October
- €5.94 again since 11 October
If you'd rather buy it straight from Valve, now is a good moment, and if you miss this sale another one tends to follow within weeks. Paying the full €16.99 makes no sense.
Under a euro at resellers for months
This is why waiting gets you nothing. Since 7 September the cheapest offer of the day has never gone above €0.45 (store price, before coupons and fees). The lowest we've recorded is €0.26, on 30 September, and it hit that in July too. It isn't a one-off deal: the game has been this cheap for months.
Today there are 21 offers in stock across 17 verified stores. These are the best of them, with fees included:
At these amounts the payment fee matters more than the price itself, so look at the figure with fees. Some stores look cheaper before checkout and end up costing more:
| Store | With coupon | With fees |
|---|---|---|
| Difmark | €0.44 (Gocdkeys) | €0.46 |
| Kinguin | €0.30 (OCTGOC10) | €0.67 |
| Gameseal | €0.29 (SEAL17CKD) | €0.71 |
| Driffle | €0.52 (GOCDKEYS10) | €0.94 |
| Cdkeys | €1.19 | €1.19 (no fees) |
| Instant Gaming | €1.59 | €1.59 (no fees) |
All of these are standard global Steam Keys: you redeem the code on your own Steam account and the game stays in your library.
So when should you buy it?
Now, if you want to play it before the sequel. The gap between today's price and the lowest we've seen is a matter of cents, and Gravity Circuit 2 is still months away.
If you'd still rather wait, set a price alert for Gravity Circuit and we'll email you if it drops to the price you choose. Every offer, fees included, is on the page to buy Gravity Circuit key.
