The official store dropped it from €22.99 to €3.44 in a single day, and that number is the one being repeated everywhere. Our own price log says something less flattering: the same game had already been sitting at €1.29 on the reseller board a few days earlier, while the official page was still asking twenty-two euros. A big percentage and a low price are not the same thing, and this game is a textbook case.
The official cut is real, and it still is not the floor
Roguelike, four heroes, stress meter, a hamlet you keep rebuilding. Red Hook's dungeon crawler has been on sale so many times that its list price stopped meaning much a long while ago. What matters is where the number lands each time, and the four reference points below are the ones we can prove from our own history table:

Read the second and third rows together and the discount stops being impressive. The official sale did not undercut the reseller board; it merely joined it, roughly a euro above where the board had already been.
How the board moved while the sale was being announced
Our history table stores one row per store per day, which lets us look at the cheapest line day by day instead of guessing. Over the past couple of weeks the floor went €1.29 for four straight days, then up to €1.99, then to €2.09, and it has stayed there since. Nothing dramatic happened: a seller ran out of the cheapest batch and the next one up took over.
That is the part a deal post written from a press release cannot tell you, because it only ever looks at one shop on one day.
Is the bundle the cheap way into the expansions?
This is where most people lose money on this particular game. There is an Ancestral Edition that packs the base game with the three expansions, and it is sold as the convenient option. Convenient it is. Cheap it is not, at least not while the pieces are this heavily discounted on their own:

Add the first four lines and compare them with the last one. As long as the gap stays where it is, four separate codes come out ahead of the single one, and you keep the option of stopping after the base game if the stress meter is not for you. The bundle only wins when the expansions come off sale and the edition does not.
Every live line, coupons already applied
Below is the board itself. The amounts already include each seller's coupon, so what you read is what the checkout will show, not a headline that grows on the payment screen:
Two labels are worth separating before you pick. A plain code with a region on it is a normal purchase: you redeem it on your own account and the game is yours. An account offer is not that: you log into somebody else's library, and the licence never becomes yours. On a game this cheap the difference between the two is usually a few cents, which makes the second one a bad trade whichever way you look at it. Doubts about the region, the launcher and the saves
Does a regional code work outside its region?
Codes tagged Global redeem anywhere. Ones tagged for a specific region are checked against the account's country at redemption, and a mismatch is refused. On a purchase of two or three euros, paying a few cents more for a Global code is cheap insurance.
Do the expansions need the base game?
Yes, all three. They install on top of it, they cannot be launched on their own, and a code for one of them is worth nothing without the game underneath.
Is the reception good enough to justify even three euros?
Our own rating snapshot puts it at 9 out of 10 across more than fifty-six thousand player reviews, with a critic score of 84. For a game whose cheapest line is under a cinema ticket, that is not a close call.
Will the sequel run on the same save?
No. The follow-up is a separate purchase and a separate progression system; nothing carries across. Treat them as two different games that share a mood.
The short answer on this cut
The discount is genuine but late, and it is not the best this game has been. If you want it, the reseller board is still under the official page and has been for weeks, so there is no reason to pay the higher of the two. If you want the expansions as well, buy them one by one while they are individually cut rather than reaching for the bundle. And if you have been putting it off, waiting for a cut deeper than the one already on the board is a gamble over roughly a euro.
