The next Elusive Target in HITMAN World of Assassination is Snoop Dogg. If you have never chased one of these: they cost nothing, they are live for a limited window, and when that window closes the contract is gone and does not come back. What they do ask for is the base game. That is why a lot of people who had HITMAN parked on a someday list have spent this week looking at what it actually costs, and our HITMAN World of Assassination price page is carrying 32 live offers across 15 shops today.
Read that page from the top and something odd shows up straight away. Steam is charging € for the Standard edition. The cheapest Standard on the very same page belongs to Gamivo and comes out at € (with coupon GCDKGamivo). Same edition, same game in the same library at the end of it, and over fifty euros between one figure and the other.
Fifty euros apart on an identical Standard edition
Two sellers on the whole page sit up at that figure for a Standard copy: Steam itself, and Greenmangaming, which has landed on exactly the same amount to the cent. The other twenty Standard offers live in a different postcode altogether.
One detail is worth spelling out, because it explains why the number above looks lower than what you will see on the shop's own site. The cheapest Standard key is listed at 18.85 € on the seller's page; the figure we print already has that shop's coupon applied, so it drops further from there. Both are true, they are just measured at different moments of the checkout.
If you want the answer without the reasoning, it is the Standard key and nothing else. Open buy HITMAN World of Assassination key, look at the top of the list, and pick whichever of those sellers you already have an account with.
Fifteen shops packed into a two-euro band
Of the twenty-two Standard offers, fifteen are under 21 €, and the whole cluster fits between 18.85 € and 20.45 €. Driffle, K4G, Gamivo, CJS-CDKeys, Kinguin, GamesPlanet, Gameseal, HRKGame and Itemku are all inside it.
That bunching is the part worth understanding. One shop alone at a low price is a promotion, and promotions expire. When fifteen shops land independently on roughly the same number, what you are reading is the market rate for the key. Nobody is doing you a favour here. That is simply what the game costs away from the official store.
Which takes the air out of the usual plan, the one where you bookmark the page and wait for a proper sale. There is very little left to wait for. That top figure is the publisher's list price and it only moves during Valve's seasonal events, while the key sellers have not moved in months.
Today's offers, and the one figure to walk straight past
Before you look at the block below, one warning about it. There is an Epic Store Key on the page at 382.37 €. Behind it is a seller who stopped maintaining that listing a long time ago and let the price drift upwards on its own. No rare edition, nothing broken on our side. Sort by price, read the format label next to each number, and it stops mattering.

A Steam Account is somebody else's login
The lowest figure on the entire page is not a Standard key at all. It is a single Steam Account offer, currently € (with coupon GCDKGamivo), and what changes hands there is a set of credentials for an account somebody else created. The game never becomes yours, you cannot safely move the email, and if the original owner runs a recovery you are out. Roughly two euros of saving against a Standard key, for that.
Steam Gift is a different animal but still not the obvious pick: six offers on the page, cheapest at € (with coupon SEAL17CDK), which is around ten euros above the cheap Standard keys and involves a friend request and a waiting period before anything lands in your library.
The two Epic Store Key offers deserve a line as well. The sensible one is at 20.07 €, in the same neighbourhood as the Standard keys, but it puts the game in your Epic library rather than on Steam. Worth checking before you click.
And there is exactly one Deluxe Ed. on the page, at 99.12 € on the shelf, € (with coupon GOCDKEYS10) once its coupon is on. One seller means nothing is pushing that price down, and it will not move until a second shop shows up with the same edition.
Has the floor moved over the last few months?
We have been recording prices for this game for over three years, so the recent run is easy to check. Month by month, the average of everything listed went 26.93 € → 34.04 € → 42.59 € → 29.89 € → 32.28 €.
Those swings look dramatic and mostly are not. That average takes in whatever was alive each month, so a month with several Steam Gift listings and a Deluxe on the page pulls it up on its own, with no cheap key having moved a cent. Underneath all of it, the Standard keys have stayed in the same zone the whole time.
One caveat if you compare the two sets of numbers: our history records shop window prices, without coupons, while the figure we print at the top of the page has the coupon already applied. That gap alone accounts for a few euros.
If the Snoop Dogg contract is what brought you here
We do not have a date or a duration for that mission, so we are not going to invent one. What is known is the shape of these things: it goes live, it stays up for a while, you get your attempts, and then it is taken down. Owning the game afterwards does not get you back in.
So if you intend to play it, the game needs to be in your library before the window opens, not during. The recommendation from our side is flat: the Standard key, from one of the fifteen shops sitting in that two-euro band. Not the shared account for the sake of two euros, and definitely not the list price. And if you want to see the whole thing sorted from the cheapest up, that is what buy HITMAN World of Assassination key is there for.
