ARC Raiders is one of those games where the offer list misleads you: the cheapest line is not always the game. Between platforms, editions and formats there are six different labels in circulation, and one of them does not even give access to the full game. Here is what separates each version.
Which ARC Raiders versions exist and how do they differ?

Most of the competition sits on PC, which is why the price spread is widest there. PS5 has very few sellers, so there is barely any room to discount.
Is the Deluxe edition worth it?
Deluxe adds cosmetics and extras, and usually sits about ten pounds above standard. The useful question is how far apart they are today: if the gap is small, it earns its place; if it balloons past fifty per cent, no amount of content justifies it. The comparator above puts them side by side.
What is a "playtest only" listing and why avoid it?
It is access to a test phase, not the finished game. It shows up very cheap and therefore climbs to the top of price-sorted lists, but it does not give you the final version. If you see that label, walk past it unless you know exactly what you are buying.
And account access?
Also not the game: it is entry into somebody else's account. You do not play on your profile, your progress is not yours, and access ends the day the password changes. In an extraction game with persistent progression that is especially bad: everything you grind stays in an account you do not control.
Can you play with friends on another platform?
Purchases do not transfer between platforms: a PC code is useless on console. Agree with your group where you are playing before paying; deciding up front is cheaper than fixing it later.
