When does Touhou Spell Carnival for PS5 drop in price?

Its price jumps around a lot: we have seen it anywhere from €3.86 to €28.96.

It has been this cheap or cheaper about half the days we have been tracking it.

And it does not drop on any fixed dates, so there is no particular month worth waiting for.

For one like this a price alert beats keeping an eye on it: we tell you the day it drops.

How much does Touhou Spell Carnival for PS5 cost right now?

Touhou Spell Carnival for PS5 starts at €3.25 (€3.65 with fees) at Key4Games, 93% under the €49.99 (no fees) of the official store — but that is a shared account, not a key of your own. If you want a key tied to your own account, the cheapest is €4.32 (€5.01 with fees) at Kinguin.

That €3.25 (€3.65 with fees) already includes the GOCDKEYS15 coupon, so apply it at checkout or the store will show you a higher price.

Supply is thin — 6 offers from 5 stores — and thin supply keeps prices steady rather than falling.

Are these stores safe to buy Touhou Spell Carnival from?

Worth knowing before you click: Key4Games is cheapest at €3.25 (€3.65 with fees) but has only 37 Trustpilot reviews behind it. If that thin track record bothers you, Difmark has the same shared account at €3.77 (€3.94 with fees) with 14.2k reviews and a 4.1 out of 5.

Which Touhou Spell Carnival format should you buy?

By format: account from €3.25 (€3.65 with fees) and PSN code from €4.32 (€5.01 with fees).

A code for your own PSN account costs only €1.07 (€1.36 with fees) more than an account, and at that gap the code is worth it.

Can you activate Touhou Spell Carnival in US?

5 of the 6 offers work on US — the Global ones plus the ones issued for your own region.

PlayStation codes are stricter than Steam keys: an account from one region cannot redeem a code from another, so check the region before buying.

Why is there such an expensive Touhou Spell Carnival offer?

One listing is worth ignoring: the PSN code that Playstation Store has at €49.99 (no fees) is more than 13 times the cheapest offer and is not what this game costs. The number to work from is €4.32 (€5.01 with fees) at Kinguin.

So, which Touhou Spell Carnival deal should you buy?

For most people the key at €4.32 (€5.01 with fees) at Kinguin is the sensible buy: the game stays on your own account and it is only €1.07 (€1.36 with fees) more than the shared account.

INFORMATION ABOUT Touhou Spell Carnival FOR PS5

In Touhou Spell Carnival, players enter Gensokyo, a fantastical world removed from reality where humans coexist with all manner of spirits and supernatural creatures. The tranquility of this place is disrupted when Reimu Hakurei, the priestess of the famous Hakurei Shrine, stumbles upon a series of strange pillars that have appeared without warning throughout the region. These structures mark the beginning of a peculiar event known as the "Spell Carnival," a tournament of sorts in which participants compete using powerful magic cards.

The person in charge of this festival is Yukari Yakumo, an enigmatic figure whose motivations are unclear. Worried about what might be behind this unexpected event, Reimu decides to participate in the carnival to discover Yukari's true intentions and put an end to any possible threat.

The game offers a unique blend of tactical strategy and bullet hell action, where battles are fought on a grid-based battlefield. In these confrontations, players must think quickly, move strategically, and avoid the constant barrage of enemy projectiles while executing special abilities and using magic cards with various effects. Preparation before each battle is crucial: choosing the right formation, assigning effective abilities, and selecting the most suitable cards are key decisions for success.

During battles, players can also obtain special items and attributes that not only grant immediate advantages, such as blocking enemy attacks, but also offer tactical bonuses that can turn the tide of the battle. Outside of combat, the Hakurei Shrine acts as a hub, allowing players to track their progress, relive side events, interact with other characters from the Touhou universe, and explore the background of this enchanted story in more detail.
