And it does not drop on any fixed dates, so there is no particular month worth waiting for.
For one like this a price alert beats keeping an eye on it: we tell you the day it drops.
How much does The Forgotten City for Xbox One cost right now?
The Forgotten City for Xbox One starts at €4.33 (€4.78 with fees) at Key4Games, 84% under the €29.99 (no fees) of the official store — but that is a shared account, not a key of your own. If you want a key tied to your own account, the cheapest is €6.79 (no fees) at Cdkeys Com.
That €4.33 (€4.78 with fees) already includes the GOCDKEYS15 coupon, so apply it at checkout or the store will show you a higher price.
Supply is thin — 10 offers from 9 stores — and thin supply keeps prices steady rather than falling.

Are these stores safe to buy The Forgotten City from?
Worth knowing before you click: Key4Games is cheapest at €4.33 (€4.78 with fees) but has only 37 Trustpilot reviews behind it. If that thin track record bothers you, Difmark has the same shared account at €5.03 (€5.26 with fees) with 14.2k reviews and a 4.1 out of 5.
Which The Forgotten City format should you buy?
What you can actually buy today: an Xbox Key from €7.05 (€7.38 with fees) at Gameboost, which you redeem yourself and leaves the game on your own account, a PC/Xbox Key from €6.79 (no fees) at Cdkeys Com, which covers Xbox and Windows in one purchase and a shared account from €4.33 (€4.78 with fees) at Key4Games, where you log in with the seller credentials instead of owning it.
The Play Anywhere key at €6.79 (no fees) is not just the option that covers Xbox and PC at once, it is also cheaper than the console-only key at €7.05 (€7.38 with fees), so there is no reason to take the narrower one.
The shared account at €4.33 (€4.78 with fees) undercuts the key at €7.05 (€7.38 with fees) by €2.72 (€2.60 with fees), but on an account the game stays tied to credentials the seller controls; for €2.72 (€2.60 with fees) the key is yours and nobody can take it back.
