It is neither an editorial pick nor a sales chart: we rank by the real clicks our visitors have given Xbox offers over the last 90 days. The selector above the grid lets you switch that order to discount, price or release date.
Each card's price is pulled live from the stores and refreshed with under a minute of lag, so what you see is what is on sale right now. The order of the list moves far more slowly, at the pace of those 90 days of demand.
Plenty of titles on this list rotate in and out of the Game Pass catalogue. Buying still makes sense if you want to keep the game the day it leaves the subscription; if you only plan to play it for a season, check what a month of Game Pass costs first.
A code is redeemed on your own account and the game stays with you. An account is access to somebody else's profile where the game is already bought: cheaper, but it is not yours, you cannot change its password and the achievements never reach your profile. Every offer says which of the two you are buying.
Almost all of them, because Microsoft keeps one digital catalogue across both generations and many titles bundle both versions in a single purchase. Recent releases, though, are Series X|S only: the exact platform is written on each product page.
