Its price jumps around a lot: we have seen it anywhere from €3.50 to €18.99.
It has been this cheap or cheaper about half the days we have been tracking it.
And it does not drop on any fixed dates, so there is no particular month worth waiting for.
For one like this a price alert beats keeping an eye on it: we tell you the day it drops.
Stranded Sails Explorers of the Cursed Islands for Xbox One starts at €7.22 (€7.80 with fees) at Key4Games, 69% under the €24.99 (no fees) of the official store — but that is a shared account, not a key of your own. If you want a key tied to your own account, the cheapest is €24.99 (no fees) at Microsoft Store ES.
That €7.22 (€7.80 with fees) already includes the GOCDKEYS15 coupon, so apply it at checkout or the store will show you a higher price.
Just 3 stores stock it, 3 offers in all, so there is little here to push the price either way.
Worth knowing before you click: Key4Games is cheapest at €7.22 (€7.80 with fees) but has only 1 Trustpilot reviews behind it. If that thin track record bothers you, Difmark has the same shared account at €8.39 (€8.77 with fees) with 14.2k reviews and a 4.1 out of 5.
What you can actually buy today: an Xbox Key from €24.99 (no fees) at Microsoft Store ES, which you redeem yourself and leaves the game on your own account and a shared account from €7.22 (€7.80 with fees) at Key4Games, where you log in with the seller credentials instead of owning it.
The shared account at €7.22 (€7.80 with fees) undercuts the key at €24.99 (no fees) by €17.77 (€17.19 with fees), but on an account the game stays tied to credentials the seller controls; for €17.77 (€17.19 with fees) the key is yours and nobody can take it back.
All 3 offers are Global, so the code redeems on any Xbox account no matter where it was created.
Critics landed at 56 out of 100 across 33 reviews, with 19% of them recommending it.
There is no third-party key on offer today, so the choice is between the shared account at €7.22 (€7.80 with fees) at Key4Games — cheap, but the game never becomes yours — and paying the official €24.99 (no fees) for a key on your own account. Either is defensible; just know which one you are picking.
