Buy PowerSlave: Exhumed XBOX Code

PowerSlave: Exhumed transports players to the ancient Egyptian city of Karnak, where alien forces known as the Kilmaat have sealed off the once-thriving metropolis from the outside world. As a covert operations specialist, you must investigate the incursion and uncover the mystery behind the invasion, guided by the spirit of Pharaoh Ramses himself. The game blends fast-paced first-person shooter combat with exploration and puzzle-solving across 20+ interconnected levels that span from the city streets to the depths of the Pharaoh's tomb.

Gameplay emphasizes non-linear exploration and environmental traversal rather than pure gunplay. You begin with only a machete, gradually acquiring an arsenal of modern weapons—including an M-60 machine gun and flamethrower—alongside magical artifacts imbued with pharaonic power. These artifacts grant unique abilities: levitation feathers, jump-enhancing boots, and the Ring of Ra for devastating fireballs. The level design encourages backtracking and secret-hunting, rewarding thorough exploration with hidden areas and collectibles.

The core mechanic revolves around acquiring power artifacts to access previously unreachable areas, creating a Metroidvania-style progression system within a first-person framework. You'll navigate vertical spaces, cross bridges, swim through underwater grottos, and solve environmental puzzles. A shared ammo system across weapons adds strategic depth to resource management, while dynamic lighting and real-time 3D rendering create atmospheric visuals throughout your journey.

PowerSlave: Exhumed represents a definitive remaster that combines the best elements of both the original PlayStation and Sega Saturn versions, enhanced with modern conveniences. Widescreen support up to 4K resolution, SMAA anti-aliasing, anisotropic texture filtering, and high refresh rate optimization bring the 1996 classic into the modern era. Modern gamepad support and adjustable difficulty levels make the experience accessible, while mid-level checkpoints reduce frustration. This is ideal for players seeking a challenging retro FPS with exploration depth and a unique Egyptian mythology setting.
