The player controls Yi as he explores the realm of New Kunlun, a vast territory filled with mysteries and elements of Eastern mythology, fusing cyberpunk with Taoism, creating a unique environment known as "Taopunk." Throughout the journey, Yi must face the 9 Suns and various terrifying creatures that guard the path, using a combination of quick attacks and deflection strategies in challenging combat, while solving puzzles and platforming.

Battles are inspired by the combat style of Sekiro, where the player must slash, deflect and use the Taoist talisman to defeat larger-than-life enemies. Each boss encounter requires patience and precision, and mastery of Yi's skills is essential to overcome the toughest obstacles.
