Its price jumps around a lot: we have seen it anywhere from €2.08 to €38.41.
This is among the lowest prices we have seen on it since 2021.
And it does not drop on any fixed dates, so there is no particular month worth waiting for.
For one like this a price alert beats keeping an eye on it: we tell you the day it drops.
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom for Xbox One starts at €8.66 (€9.30 with fees) at Key4Games, 77% under the €39.98 (no fees) of the official store — but that is a shared account, not a key of your own. If you want a key tied to your own account, the cheapest is €28.56 (€30.55 with fees) at Gamivo.
That €8.66 (€9.30 with fees) already includes the GOCDKEYS15 coupon, so apply it at checkout or the store will show you a higher price.
There is a cheaper listing, €2.34 (€2.88 with fees) at Kinguin, but it is a UK key and it will not redeem on a US account however good the price looks.
Only 7 offers across 6 stores carry it, and thin supply means the price barely moves.
That puts it 16% under its average of €38.63 since 2021, so today is a better entry point than most days of its life.
Worth knowing before you click: Key4Games is cheapest at €8.66 (€9.30 with fees) but has only 1 Trustpilot reviews behind it. If that thin track record bothers you, Difmark has the same shared account at €10.07 (€10.52 with fees) with 14.2k reviews and a 4.1 out of 5.
What you can actually buy today: an Xbox Key from €28.56 (€30.55 with fees) at Gamivo, which you redeem yourself and leaves the game on your own account and a shared account from €2.34 (€2.88 with fees) at Kinguin, where you log in with the seller credentials instead of owning it.
The shared account at €2.34 (€2.88 with fees) is €26.22 (€27.67 with fees) cheaper than the key at €28.56 (€30.55 with fees), which is a real saving, but bear in mind the game lives on credentials the seller controls rather than on your own profile.
4 of the 7 offers work on US — the Global ones plus the ones issued for your own region.
Critics landed at 86 out of 100 across 61 reviews, with 92% of them recommending it.
For most people the key at €28.56 (€30.55 with fees) at Gamivo is the sensible buy: the game stays on your own account and it is only €19.90 (€21.25 with fees) more than the shared account.
