Middle Earth Shadows of War is the second installment of the Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor in which we embodied a mountaineer in his pursuit of vengeance through the lands of Mordor, to avenge us of the death of our family at the hands of the servants of Sauron.

But in this second installment, the gameplay and the objective change completely, in addition to adding new modes of games that we had not seen in the previous installment. The highlight of the title, is that now has many more components typical of the genre RPG, such as increased skills, experience points, improvements in equipment, weapons and armor, and the possibility of obtaining loot after the deaths.

They have also endowed this new delivery with some components of the strategy genre and a considerable improvement in the Nemesis system. The objective of the game is to conquer Mordor by creating our own army and making use of the new ring of power. The Nemesis system will now allow us to recruit generals who were once under Sauron's orders to enlist them in our army, as well as all his followers, so we can create huge armies with different generals.

And what will we use the armies for? Our followers will be in charge of conquering the different zones of Mordor, for now Mordor will be divided into very well-differentiated zones, each with its forts, castles, internal regions, missions, generals, armies and a supreme leader of Each zone that we must exterminate to control that particular region.

The map will be huge and we will depend on what areas we want to conquer and snatch Sauron. Once the zones have been conquered, we can put a general on the front who will protect this area from the constant attacks of the legions of Sauron, and we will be able to use that zone as a general base where to recruit more troops, to extract resources to equip our orcs with better weapons and armor, training our troops, training more beasts, ... And an endless number of new activities that we can perform.

The Middle Earth War Shadows gives a turn to the gameplay of 180 degrees with respect to the previous delivery, although the combat system and our abilities will continue being very similar to the first delivery, yes, with new movements and infinity of possibilities of carry out our missions.
