About Distrust

A helicopter crash left a group of explorers stranded near an Arctic research station. The survivors will have to resist the nightmares of dead frost and hunger. As the explorers try to sleep just enough to stay alive, they slowly go mad and eventually reach the point where they can no longer trust their senses and tell the difference between reality and a hallucination.

Distrust is a game of survival and intrigue inspired by the film The Thing of John Carpenter, in which all the action happens in a remote base in the Arctic.

It all begins when our helicopter crashes near an old military base in the Arctic, under extreme weather conditions, where the cold freezes to the bone, our survivors must survive at all costs.

In Distrust players will know what despair is, as as our survivors desperately seek a way out of this difficult situation, all they get is to plunge deeper into this nightmare. When they sleep, they attract a terrifying force that sucks their lives, and the more they fight against exhaustion, the less likely they are to survive.

As time goes by, our characters will go crazy and finally get to the point where they can no longer trust their senses, they can not even distinguish reality from illusions.

Extreme cold environments, with randomly generated levels, with 15 characters each with their unique abilities and with hundreds of events and plot turns that we will have to be adapted.
