Dive into an enchanting underwater adventure with Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Keepsake Sea, an expansive new chapter that transforms the beloved life-simulation game with oceanic exploration and nautical gameplay. This expansion introduces the ability to transform into a fully customizable Merfolk, complete with over 50 options for fins, tails, ears, and accessories, allowing you to express your unique underwater identity. Explore vast new biomes including Shipwreck Shores, a pirate-themed island with mysterious fortresses, and venture into pristine underwater worlds filled with secrets waiting to be discovered.

The core gameplay loop remains grounded in the series' signature mechanics—gathering resources, crafting, decorating, and building relationships with beloved Disney and Pixar characters—but now extends beneath the waves. In mermaid form, you'll harvest fish and crafting materials directly from the ocean floor, dive into fishing spots to bypass traditional minigames, and collect resources from floating bubbles. Stress-free underwater exploration means unlimited breathing with no oxygen management, smooth swimming controls, and seamless integration with existing Dreamlight Valley areas. Your land-dwelling companions follow in miniature submarines, maintaining the game's cozy, inclusive atmosphere.

The Keepsake Sea introduces groundbreaking building mechanics by allowing full underwater customization and decoration. Place furniture on floating platforms using new vertical elevation features, construct your Player's House underwater, and design your own underwater sanctuary with Disney and Pixar-inspired items. Alongside exploration and building, you'll captain your own customizable Enchanted Pirate Ship, recruit crew members, and engage in salvage operations using the ship's crane to gather unique resources.

This expansion welcomes five new villagers to the valley: Milo Thatch from Atlantis: The Lost Empire serves as your guide, Captain Jack Sparrow teaches sailing and the Pirate Code, Megara from Hercules joins the community, and Dory from Finding Nemo debuts as the game's first Adventure Companion. Additional characters including Wendy and others expand the narrative possibilities. The expansion targets players who cherish the life-simulation genre, Disney fans seeking deeper character interactions, and those who've mastered the base game and crave substantial new content with fresh mechanics and exploration opportunities.
