What do our users think of Blasphemous for PC Digital?
amazing combat,story and voice acting.The artstyle is unique and the atmosphere is unique.Even if you don't have a variety of weapons(thing that will be rezolved in the second game),the variety of attacks mea culpa have is enough.As a souls like,it haves a lot of enjoyable boss fights and as a metroidvania,the exploration is pretty good,sadly the movend is kinda lacking in some aspects but it works with the game,On short this game is an amazing experience and it deserves a try
I can say it is my favorite game of all time, just because of the lore of the bosses and the lore of the items you get to know is incredible. The bosses could be challenging but they are beatable, I can also compliment the idle animation of The Penitent One, he cries but instead of tears blood come out of his eyes, representing all the guilt and sins he carries withing himself and his sword. Astonishing how the game itself is based on Catholic and somewhat Orthodox Christianity which makes it even more worthy to be my favorite game of all time. Definitely would recommend it to any gamer that enjoys souls like games.
Easily one of the best I've every played. Excellent Metroidvania with satisfying combat, exploration and lore. Feels like a 2-d Souls game. the only downside is that it's pixel visual.
