Its price jumps around a lot: we have seen it anywhere from €1.09 to €32.47.
It has been this cheap or cheaper about half the days we have been tracking it.
And it does not drop on any fixed dates, so there is no particular month worth waiting for.
For one like this a price alert beats keeping an eye on it: we tell you the day it drops.
Asterix & Obelix XXL: Romastered for Xbox One starts at €2.10 (€2.19 with fees) at Difmark, 89% under the €19.99 (no fees) of the official store — but that is a shared account, not a key of your own. If you want a key tied to your own account, the cheapest is €2.72 (€3.29 with fees) at Kinguin.
That €2.10 (€2.19 with fees) already includes the Gocdkeys coupon, so apply it at checkout or the store will show you a higher price.
With 12 offers across 9 stores there is enough competition for the price to move, so the gap between the cheapest and the rest is worth checking before you buy.
What you can actually buy today: an Xbox Key from €2.72 (€3.29 with fees) at Kinguin, which you redeem yourself and leaves the game on your own account, a PC/Xbox Key from €4.39 (€5.09 with fees) at Kinguin, which covers Xbox and Windows in one purchase and a shared account from €2.10 (€2.19 with fees) at Difmark, where you log in with the seller credentials instead of owning it.
The shared account at €2.10 (€2.19 with fees) undercuts the key at €2.72 (€3.29 with fees) by €0.62 (€1.10 with fees), but on an account the game stays tied to credentials the seller controls; for €0.62 (€1.10 with fees) the key is yours and nobody can take it back.
8 of the 12 offers work on US — the Global ones plus the ones issued for your own region.
One listing is worth ignoring: the Xbox key that Amazon UK has at €26.18 (no fees) is more than 11 times the cheapest offer and is not what this game costs. The number to work from is €2.72 (€3.29 with fees) at Kinguin.
If you play on both machines, the Play Anywhere key at €4.39 (€5.09 with fees) at Kinguin is the buy: one purchase covers Xbox and PC.
