Insomniac's sequel arrives on PC with two boxes on the shelf and a gap between them that changes almost every week. On the publisher's own page that gap is a fixed number; on a board of eighty-odd sellers it is not. So the useful question, before you buy Marvel's Spider-Man 2 on PC, is not «is the Deluxe worth ten euros» but «what is it worth today, here».
Standard and Digital Deluxe: two content lists, one campaign
Nothing in the story is behind the upgrade. Both editions run the same campaign, the same open city and the same ending. What the Digital Deluxe adds, according to its own listing, is cosmetic and convenience material: a batch of extra suits for both Spider-Men, a handful of additional skill points and a set of Photo Mode items.

The upgrade costs one thing at the publisher and another on the seller board
Sony lists the game at 59,99 € on Steam, and the Deluxe step above it is a fixed amount there. Across a board this wide the two editions move independently, seller by seller, and the distance between them collapses and reopens constantly. It is not unusual for the two cheapest listings to sit only a few euros apart — a gap far smaller than the official one, at which point the extra suits stop being a luxury purchase and become a rounding error.
The reverse happens too. When the Standard drops hard and the Deluxe does not follow, the upgrade goes back to costing what it costs at retail. There is no permanent answer here, only today's two numbers in the table above.
Global, Europe or United States: why the same edition costs different amounts
Each edition is listed under three region tags, and they are not interchangeable. A US-tagged activation bought from Europe may refuse to redeem, and a Global copy usually carries a small premium precisely because it drags no restriction behind it. A large slice of the price differences you see between apparently identical listings is this label and nothing else.
Every live listing for both editions
Prices below are the final ones, with each seller's coupon already applied, which is why the ordering sometimes disagrees with what a store shows on its own page.
When the cheapest line is neither edition
Sort by price and the top of the list is frequently a Steam Account listing: access to somebody else's account that already owns the game, rather than a copy landing in a library of yours. It is a different transaction with a different set of risks, and comparing it against an edition price is comparing two unrelated things. There are Steam Gift listings too, which are genuine transfers but depend on the sender and often carry a region. Currently the cheapest plain Standard activation sits at Driffle.
Which one suits how you plan to play
If you are here for the campaign — and at 88 on OpenCritic across 204 reviews, with 90% of critics recommending it, that is a good reason to be here — the Standard takes nothing away from you. The Deluxe earns its place in one specific case: when the live gap between the two is small enough that you would not think twice about it, and you are the kind of player who spends real time in Photo Mode and swapping suits.
The short answer
Check the two entry prices side by side before deciding, not the official difference. Then buy Marvel's Spider-Man 2 key in the edition and region that actually win on the day you are buying.
