Fourteen Switch games that work on one sofa, each with every price its page actually shows. These pages carry three different things at the same time: an account, where you log into a Nintendo profile that belongs to a stranger and the game never lands in yours; an eShop code you redeem yourself; and, on seven of the fourteen, a cartridge as well. The borrowed account is the cheapest thing on nine of those pages, the code already wins on four of them, and on one it is the box, so every game below gets all three numbers instead of the lowest one.
The review counts come from Steam, so they describe the PC version of each game. Together the fourteen pages hold 149 live offers, and the account price on every single one of them belongs to the same shop, Difmark.
Overcooked! 2 and Cuphead, the two that need no pitch
Overcooked! 2, from Ghost Town Games and Team17, is two, three or four cooks in one kitchen while the kitchen slides around underneath them. It is the one most people name first and it has the best stocked page here: 16 offers across 11 shops. Difmark's account is €6.99, the first eShop code is Eneba's at €10.49, and the €3.50 between them buys a download that stays in your own profile. Very Positive on Steam, 55,677 of 61,863.
Cuphead is Studio MDHR's hand-drawn run-and-gun, two players locally, and hard enough that the second player mostly exists to revive the first at the worst moment. It has the largest sample of the fourteen by a distance: Overwhelmingly Positive, 190,469 of 198,405. It also has the widest gap on this page, €10.16 for the account against €20.84 for Eneba's code, more than double for a copy nobody can lock you out of. 11 offers from 9 shops.
Five LEGO games, and a €6.99 cartridge that beats every download
The five LEGO games are all TT Games and they behave the same way: two players, drop in and drop out mid-level, a split screen that opens and closes on its own, no game over, and collectables everywhere. This is the shelf that saves the afternoon when the second controller belongs to an eight-year-old.
The number worth stopping on is LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2. PCcomponentes lists the cartridge at €6.99, which is €2.86 under the cheapest download code on the same page and a euro under the shared account as well. It goes the other way on LEGO The Incredibles, where Driffle's code at €7.99 saves you six euros against the Media Markt box.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game is the odd one of the five: 15 offers spread across 15 different shops, and the CDKeys code at €8.29 comes in 40 cents below Difmark's account. LEGO Jurassic World is the best liked of the group and the account there is €7.49, with 13 offers from 11 shops. LEGO Harry Potter Collection puts two games in one purchase, has 13 offers, and no cartridge at all, so the choice is €7.99 for the account or €10.91 for the code.
Arcade night: Double Dragon, the Turtles and Sonic
Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise Of The Dragons is a modern beat 'em up for two from Secret Base and Maximum Entertainment, with characters you tag in and out mid-fight. 1,090 positive out of 1,267. There is nothing to argue about on price either: the CDKeys code costs €5.79 and the account €5.99, so the copy you keep is the cheap one. 7 offers from 7 shops.
TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection is Digital Eclipse and KONAMI putting thirteen classic Turtles games in one purchase, several of them for four players on the same screen. 684 positive of 786. Kinguin's code is €12.04 and the account €9.59, out of 10 offers from 10 shops.
Sonic Mania is Christian Whitehead and SEGA doing classic Sonic properly. Player two takes Tails, and there is a split-screen competition mode on top. 22,856 positive of 24,315, the second largest sample here. The Kinguin code is €9.18, Difmark's account €7.50, from 10 offers across 8 shops.
Slower evenings: Wargroove and Trine 5
Wargroove is Chucklefish's turn-based tactics, with a co-op campaign and local matches you can play by passing a single controller back and forth. 3,332 positive of 4,015. Its page has the least competition of the fourteen, only 4 offers from 4 shops, and it is still the page where the code wins by most: €14.41 at G2A against €14.99 for the account, 58 cents apart.
Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy is Frozenbyte and THQ Nordic doing physics puzzles and platforming with three characters who solve everything differently, up to three of you locally. 2,246 positive of 2,524. Gamivo's code is €17.80, the account €11.99, and the PCcomponentes cartridge €35.46, which is double the code. 5 offers.
Two for a short night, from €3.40
Pool Party, from Lakeview Games and Mindscape, is pool for several players and the cheapest thing in this article: €3.40 for an Eneba code, five cents under the account sitting next to it, from 8 offers. Read the sample before you commit, though. Steam calls it Positive on 18 reviews out of 21, which is next to nothing to go on.
Garfield Lasagna Party from Balio Studio and Microids is a board game with minigames for four, made for twenty minutes rather than an evening. 121 positive of 146. Here the account at €3.59 is less than half of Driffle's €7.84 code, the second widest gap in the article after Cuphead. 8 offers.

If you buy one thing for the sofa, buy Overcooked! 2. Go to buy Overcooked 2 key and take the €10.49 code rather than the €6.99 account, because four people around a table is exactly the situation where you do not want the seller changing a password halfway through the month.
With a child on the second controller, the €6.99 LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 cartridge is the best value in the whole article, and it is a physical copy that nobody can take back. On a small budget, Pool Party at €3.40 and Double Dragon Gaiden at €5.79 are the two codes that already cost less than the shared account above them. And the one you will still be talking about next month is Cuphead, at €20.84.
