Waiting will not get you anywhere: this one hardly ever drops.
When it does drop, it drops a little: rarely more than 11%.
The cheapest it has ever been is €44.48, and that was 2 months ago.
If the official price does not move, the only thing that can save you money is the gap between stores, which is what you have in the table above.
Yoshi and the Mysterious Book for Nintendo Switch 2 starts at €19.03 (€20.14 with fees) at Key4Games, 66% under the €59.51 (no fees) of the official store — but that is a shared account, not a key of your own. If you want a key tied to your own account, the cheapest is €50.69 (€50.98 with fees) at G2A.
That €19.03 (€20.14 with fees) already includes the GOCDKEYS15 coupon, so apply it at checkout or the store will show you a higher price.
With 16 offers across 15 stores there is enough competition for the price to move, so the gap between the cheapest and the rest is worth checking before you buy.
The cheapest route is a shared account at €19.03 (€20.14 with fees; Key4Games), 60% under the cheapest eShop code, €50.69 (€50.98 with fees) at G2A. It is worth knowing what that buys: with an account you play on someone else's credentials and the game never becomes yours, while the code does.
There is also the cartridge at €60.99 (no fees; Media Markt ES), the only version you can lend or resell once you are done.
6 of the 16 offers work on US — the Global ones plus the ones issued for your own region.
That matters more on Switch than anywhere else: eShop codes are strictly regional, a code from one region will not redeem on an account from another, and there is no way to convert it afterwards.
If you end up paying on the eShop anyway, a $5 card for United States goes for $4.60 at Eneba, 8% under face value.
Critics landed at 80 out of 100 across 119 reviews, with 83% of them recommending it.
For most people the key at €50.69 (€50.98 with fees) at G2A is the sensible buy: the game stays on your own account and it is only €31.66 (€30.84 with fees) more than the shared account.
