XCOM 2: Resistance Warrior Pack is a cosmetic DLC that enhances soldier customization in Firaxis Games' acclaimed turn-based strategy title. Set in a world where alien occupation has reshaped Earth's landscape, the base game tasks you with commanding the Avenger—a converted alien craft serving as XCOM's mobile headquarters—while orchestrating a global resistance against extraterrestrial rule.

The Resistance Warrior Pack adds thematic customization options that echo the original XCOM conflict from two decades prior. You gain access to Resistance Kevlar Armor styled after the equipment worn by soldiers in XCOM: Enemy Unknown, complete with multiple color and texture variations. Accompanying these armor sets are bonus outfits, distinctive headgear, and custom facial war paint that allow you to personalize your squad's appearance beyond standard military aesthetics.

The pack includes a special recruit—a veteran survivor of the old war—who joins your barracks as a new soldier ready for deployment. This character arrives pre-configured with authentic XCOM heritage armor and a distinctive appearance, providing both narrative flavor and an early-game roster addition.

While primarily cosmetic, the Resistance Warrior Pack appeals to players seeking visual continuity with the franchise's history and those who value squad customization. The armor and appearance options are most relevant during early campaign stages before superior equipment becomes available through research. This DLC works best for players who appreciate the military design philosophy of the original game and want additional ways to visually distinguish their resistance fighters.
