You are a rancher on an alien planet herding cute and not so cute slimes. You feed the slimes, collect plorts, and upgrade your ranch! A colorful and relaxing loop that is fun and satisfying for a chilled-out experience and is upbeat and creative enough.

Slime rancher is a pretty old game (almost a decade) but I remember it as a highlight of my childhood. The game has a very gentle, bright, and addictive environment. You play as Beatrix LeBeau, a slime rancher on a distant planet, attempting to gather and care for these cute and bouncy slimes — and, honestly, it's much more fun than it looks. - Farming simulation: The game is kind of a farming simulation. - Exploration: And exploring, of course. - Chaos managing: At the same time, it's a lot of chaos management because slimes will escape and cause havoc if you don't look out. There's just something very satisfying about running around collecting different slimes, feeding them, and selling their "plorts" (think of it as slime poop) for cash to better your ranch. Another big plus for the vibes of Slime Rancher are that the music is very calming, the visuals are bright and comfy, and the whole world is a giant sandbox that you can roam around in. It's honestly a great game to just chill on, especially if you're feeling stressed. That said, there is a slight chance it can become repetitive if you have everything unlocked. Different types of slime, upgrades, and secrets keep the spirit alive for sure. And mixing slime combos is a lot of fun — just try not to a Tarr by accident (you definitely don't want to). All in all, Slime Rancher is wholesome, awesome for chilling, and surprisingly complex. If you like farming sims, exploration, or anything cute, then this game is a must on your shortlist. And if you are having a bad day, it feels a lot better to just launch a slime in the sky with your vac-pack. (4.5 stars just because the gameplay gets repetitive)

Awesome game, very fun but also relaxed. A casual sunday morning game. Fun version of the tycoon concept. Even though it looks childish at first, the art style is very much appreciated.

Although I haven't played much of it since I only have the Steam demo, it's a great, adorable game with big, small, and HUGE slimes you can take care of. I hope to get the full game in the future!

Slime rancher is really fun. The aspect of the game is really unique and incredibly adorable! I've probably spent way too much time playing :D
