About Schedule I

Schedule I drugs, substances, or chemicals are defined as drugs with no currently accepted medical use and a high potential for abuse.

- The Drug Enforcement Administration

You're a small-time drug dealer rolling into a fresh town with no cash, no product and no connections. Build your drug empire from the ground up in the grungy west-coast city of Hyland Point. Contend against intensifying law enforcement and deadly cartel competitors to expand your empire and reach the peak of the underworld.

Produce a range of drugs to satisfy your customers, each one with it's own unique production process. Discover special recipes to create new drug variants with special properties.

Walk, skate or drive throughout Hyland Point to get product into the hands of customers. Hire dealers to handle distribution for you.

Purchase new properties and hire employees to expand the scope and scale of your operations. Work with suppliers to build a fully automated production and distribution chain.

This is a dangerous line of work - you'll have to contend with increasing law enforcement, as well as deadly cartel competitors. Fight with fists, melee weapons or firearms.

A growing empire needs skilled management. Reach new heights in co-op multiplayer.

How much does Schedule I for PC cost right now?

Schedule I for PC starts at €3.18 at Difmark, 84% under the €19.50 of the official store — but that is a shared account, not a key of your own. If you want a key tied to your own account, the cheapest is €19.50 at Steam.

We have never recorded it cheaper than this.

That €3.18 already includes the Gocdkeys coupon, so apply it at checkout or the store will show you a higher price.

With 23 offers across 12 stores there is enough competition for the price to move, so the gap between the cheapest and the rest is worth checking before you buy.

Is it worth buying the Steam Key for Schedule I now or waiting?

That €19.50 key is expensive for what it usually costs.

  • Those €19.50 are 15% above what it usually costs, measured on the store price.
  • Only 6 stores sell the Steam Key, and with that little competition the price barely moves.
  • Across the 117 days we have tracked it, it has only been pricier than today on 5 days. The lowest it has ever cost is €11.70.
If you do not need it today, waiting pays off: we have seen it at €11.70 and right now you would pay €7.80 more. We will tell you the day it drops.

Worked out from 556 daily records of the Steam Key for Schedule I across 5 stores. See the full price history.

The price does not include each store's payment fees. The percentage is measured on the store price, without coupons, because that is how we record the history. The analysis only counts Key offers. Shared accounts, Steam Gift and physical editions stay out, because they are not the same product and their prices move differently.

Which Schedule I format should you buy?

With the shared account at Difmark you log into an account that already owns the game: it is the cheapest route, but it never becomes yours and the seller keeps the credentials. If they ever lose or change them, you lose access.

The key at Steam costs €16.32 more, but you redeem it on your own account and the game stays there for good. That is the difference between renting and buying.

The 12 Steam Gift offers are pricier than the key and leave more room for error, because they depend on the region and on Steam friendship.

Can you activate Schedule I in US?

20 of the 23 offers work on US — the Global ones plus the ones issued for your own region.

Why is there such an expensive Schedule I offer?

One listing is worth ignoring: the Steam key that Eneba has at €108.37 is more than 34 times the cheapest offer and is not what this game costs. The number to work from is €19.50 at Steam.

Update 07/14/2025 – Latest Schedule I News

A Big Improvement Arrived in June
In early June, version v0.3.6 was released, an update packed with useful changes while the developer apologized for the delay. Employee beds were replaced with lockers, freeing up space and allowing for more storage. Item slot filters were added, providing a more practical way to manage inventory. Save times and cloud syncing were improved, making everything smoother and more reliable. These improvements served as a prelude to a bigger promise: the first major content for the game is already on the way, with details that go beyond simple technical polish.

You Decide the Future: Posters, Police, or Hallucinogens
In a brilliant twist, players can now vote on the content of the next major patch. In June, a voting system was launched in the main menu and has already yielded positive results: more than 60% of users chose the cartel rivalry option, confirming that this will be included in the next major update.

Beta in the offing: Improved management of your businesses
The developer has announced in several news reports that the next update will include tools for smarter and more efficient storage management within the game. Players hope this will strengthen the strategic experience.

The impact on Steam
Since its early release in late March, Schedule I has steadily grown in popularity. It has been acclaimed by users with nearly 97% positive ratings in the last 30 days. Its creator, TVGS (a solo studio), remains active, involved with the community, and adhering to a schedule that seeks to add monthly updates without pause.

Beyond the usual
Since April, the game has added functional pawn shops, boutiques, jukeboxes, decorations, and decorative fictional drinks. But it's in the gameplay structure and community choices that fans see Schedule I becoming a unique experience.

Looking to the Future
The cartel rivalry patch is already on the way, the result of community voting. The new smart storage system will be put into beta to further refine the organization of the illegal empire. And TVGS is already working on a monthly content rollout, with player participation at the forefront.

Schedule I is a mind-bending psychological mystery players have to assemble fragmented memories and cryptic tasks. The story itself unravels through strangeness in the environments and puzzles so much so, that it leads players to complete an unnerving and immersive experience that lingers after playing.
