PAW Patrol: The Movie – Adventure City Calls brings the pups to a bustling metropolis where Mayor Humdinger has taken control. When the PAW Patrol discovers his selfish schemes threaten the city, they must spring into action to save Adventure City. Players join the rescue team as their favorite pups—Chase, Marshall, Skye, and the new city-savvy Liberty—each with unique abilities suited to different rescue challenges.

The gameplay centers on eight main missions that guide players through Adventure City's varied locations. Each mission combines straightforward 3D platforming with collection mechanics: traverse levels by running and jumping across platforms, benches, and rooftops to gather doggy biscuit treats and unlock reward badges. The platforming is designed for accessibility, with responsive controls and clear level guidance that welcomes younger players without feeling condescending.

Beyond platforming, the game weaves in vehicle sections and pup-specific gadget mechanics. Players pilot vehicles across three lanes to avoid obstacles, or deploy character abilities—Marshall's drill and axe, Rubble's construction tools, Liberty's tracking skills—to overcome environmental puzzles. Minigames like Pup Pup Boogie and Runners provide variety and quick bursts of interactive fun between platforming sections.

Local co-op play is a core feature, allowing two players to tackle missions together with each controlling a designated pup. The game supports solo and cooperative modes, making it suitable for both individual play and family gaming sessions. With no combat or enemies, the experience focuses entirely on exploration, collection, and cooperative problem-solving.

PAW Patrol: The Movie – Adventure City Calls targets young players aged 4 and up who enjoy the franchise. The game respects its audience with intuitive mechanics, clear objectives, and a gentle difficulty curve that builds confidence without frustration. Fans of the film and television series will recognize the characters, settings, and mission-based structure that ties directly to the movie's Adventure City setting.
