What do our users think of NBA 2K17 for PC Digital?
As one of the best-looking versions of the franchise, along with improved ball motion, better user interface presentation, and deeper gameplay systems, NBA 2K17 is one of the best in the series, though the monetization elements and pricing are still divisive.
NBA 2k17 is exactly like NBA 2k16, the only difference is a whole new U.I. & altered shot system, updated player models, & a whole new MyPlayer/Career story. I believe buying NBA 2k17 is only worth it, if you don't have 2k16 on Steam already. Other than that, I don't believe you should be buying this game. Something to note about MyPark on the PC, there are a lot of modders/cheaters in the game. The online experience is pretty much ruined due to that.
Of all sports gaming franchises, the NBA franchise developed by Visual Concepts has always been considered one of the most realistic. This Sept. 20 goes on sale the 2K17 version, and it promises to give a new quality leap. NBA 2K17 is the version number 18 of a franchise that has already demonstrated in the past its ability to simulate reality in great detail, critics recognize it as one of the best sports games. NBA 2K17 has some very big shoes to fill (basketball shoes, neither more nor less), and looks ready to do so without problems. As its predecessors, NBA 2K17 is looking for the most realistic simulation possible of basketball, following the rules of the league NBA, and offering the player various game modes that makes you feel you are actually running a basketball team.. The myTeam game mode has been one of the biggest bets of Visual Concepts, it allows users to design their own basketball team, electing their players, their clothes and run it by competing with other players teams in tournaments and competitions. In this edition the MyCareer mode returns, after being absent in the 2016 version, it allows users not manage an entire team, but a single player, who they must control during his career. Besides these two, the MyGM and MyLeague game modes also returns, they allow players to manage different teams during competitions and tournaments. Of course, the best NBA teams will be available for use. Outside of game modes, Visual Concepts has put much effort into improving aesthetic aspects of the game, especially the sound, which in previous years had many critics. This time the developers decided to make every effort to resolve this deficit, and they put a team of sound engineers to conduct researches in official NBA games, to detect changes that should be made to the soundtrack of the game to make it more realistic, we will see the results of this in a few days.
