Grab your bike, pedal off and beat back the Greed to save your town. Kingdom Eighties is a story-based tower defense spin-off to the award-winning Kingdom series set in the ‘80s. This is a singleplayer and local co-op (or online co-op via Steam Remote Play Together) adventure with base building and strategy elements, rad aesthetics and a soundtrack inspired by the sweet synth tunes of the ‘80s.
Something disturbing has broken free from the shadows and it's up to you as The Leader to drive the evil back by recruiting your friends and other kids from the neighborhood. Together you will build your defenses and protect the town from the relentless attacks by the mysterious Greed monsters that are trying to steal your family heirloom, the Crown of Creation. For what nefarious purposes, who knows?

Gather your three unique companions, each with special skills, and recruit other kids to build defenses, collect coins and… run a lemonade stand and a pizza shop (among many other things)! Manage the people you recruit, unlock tools and more importantly gear your crew up for the horrors that come at night.

A force, dormant for centuries, has somehow broken free in the ‘80s; Kingdom Eighties is a comic-sized story about the small town Monarch that has come under threat by an unknown evil. It has fallen upon you, as The Leader, to defend it and save the day. Rally the Summer Camp when an evil force of goopy Greed monsters attack and try to break your defenses. Where did they come from and where the heck are all the adults? Uncover clues and discover what happened to everybody else as you repel and fight the Greed back.

Kingdom's iconic, handcrafted art style is back, now with a neon touch coming directly from the ‘80s aesthetics. Chill and vibe with the synthy OST from Andreas Hald, and travel back to the wonder days of bike riding and summer camps, when everything seemed possible.

In the true arcade style, Kingdom Eighties features a new game mode: Survival Mixtapes! Bring your best tactics and strategies to fend off progressively harder waves of Greed in four different episodes including “Back to the Suburbs” and “Greed, First Goo”. Make on-the-fly decisions as certain buildings’ special abilities are disabled and levels feature random mounts. This game mode is sure to put your skills to the test!
Kingdom Eighties for PC starts at €1.56 at Gamivo, a Steam key, which is 87% under the €11.79 it costs on the official store.
That €1.56 already includes the GCDKGamivo coupon, so apply it at checkout or the store will show you a higher price.
There is a cheaper listing, €1.33 at Eneba, but it is a Europe key and it will not redeem on a US account however good the price looks.
14 stores carry it, 29 offers in total and 27 available right now; the figure above is the cheapest of the ones you can actually order.
That puts it 7% under its average of €1.68 since 2023, so today is a better entry point than most days of its life.
That €1.33 key has never had a real discount yet.
Worked out from 1,563 daily records of the Steam Key for Kingdom Eighties across 16 stores. See the full price history.
The price does not include each store's payment fees. The percentage is measured on the store price, without coupons, because that is how we record the history. The analysis only counts Key offers. Shared accounts, Steam Gift and physical editions stay out, because they are not the same product and their prices move differently.
By format: Steam Key from €1.33 and Steam Gift from €3.33.
Beyond the standard edition at €1.33, there is the Deluxe at €8.40 at Eneba, €7.07 more and the Special at €16.61 at GamesPlanet, €15.28 more. Check on the store what each one adds before paying the difference.
20 of the 29 offers work on US — the Global ones plus the ones issued for your own region.
Critics put it at 81 out of 100, though there are only 14 reviews published so far.
One listing is worth ignoring: the Steam key that Kinguin has at €17.99 is more than 11 times the cheapest offer and is not what this game costs. The number to work from is €1.33 at Eneba.
If you can wait, wait. The key is 10% above its average today and we have seen it at €1.40. Set an alert and we will tell you the day it drops.
If you want it now, get it at Eneba for €1.33: it is the cheapest key right now and the game stays on your own account.

A neon filled micro-strategic base-builder set in the '80s. Blending quintessential retro aesthetics with fast-paced defensive mechanics. Players can't get enough of the addictive design, though some players mention it is short lived and has zero replay value.
