About Hellmut: The Badass from Hell

The Gates of Hell opens and humanity is in danger! No, it's nothing to do with a certain game spelled ‘MOOD’ backwards, how dare you even think that! This game isn’t some run-of-the-mill first person shooter, it’s got hideous demons, and powerful guns, and blood splatter and... Wait a minute, let’s start that again.

You have been granted immortality! Well, what’s left of you has. There wasn’t much left of you after the demons ate you. If you’re going to get your body back, you’re going to have to kill some demons... actually, rather a lot of demons. Really, we may be talking demonocide here... Frankly we expect angry letters from demon pressure groups asking us to explain why you can murderize so many of them in this game without any moral qualms whatsoever. But you’re up for that, right?

Hellmut: The Badass from Hell is a fast-paced bullet-storm dungeon crawler that cranks the nonsense up to 11 and puts you right in the thick of it. Take control of various Transformations and unlock new Transformations each time you complete the game. Challenge randomly generated bosses across the randomly generated world, defeat demonic hordes, loot valuable treasures and soulstones, equip powerful weapons and use all your skills to save humanity! Or at the very least, save yourself, which feels at least as good as saving humanity.

Each Transformation gives you new ways of slaughtering yet more hordes of demons! Command rats as the Rat King, become the Orc Fairy with her mighty spells (well, as mighty as an Orc Fairy can cast...), dip enemies in the questionable goo of the Slimeball, or become many other ludicrous monstrosities that the marketing department couldn’t be bothered to mention in this blurb.

Look, you’ve read this far so you must be interested. Just stick it on your Steam wishlist and wait for a sale... or take pity on the starving developer and let them buy food this week. Those demons aren’t going to slay themselves!

How much does Hellmut: The Badass from Hell for PC cost right now?

Hellmut: The Badass from Hell for PC starts at €2.33 (no fees) at Steam, a Steam key.

This is the lowest price it has ever been recorded at.

Just 6 stores stock it, 6 offers in all, so there is little here to push the price either way.

Is it worth buying the Steam Key for Hellmut: The Badass from Hell now or waiting?

That €2.33 (no fees) key is at one of its best prices.

  • Those €2.33 (no fees) are 74% below what it usually costs, measured on the store price.
  • Only 6 stores sell the Steam Key, and with that little competition the price barely moves.
  • Not counting today, the lowest we have recorded for the Steam Key across 2,440 days is €3.11 — and today it is below that.
At this price it is worth buying the Steam Key now: what you stand to gain by waiting is a few euros, and it is not guaranteed.

Worked out from 3,293 daily records of the Steam Key for Hellmut: The Badass from Hell across 8 stores. See the full price history.

The price does not include each store's payment fees. The percentage is measured on the store price, without coupons, because that is how we record the history. The analysis only counts Key offers. Shared accounts, Steam Gift and physical editions stay out, because they are not the same product and their prices move differently.

Can you activate Hellmut: The Badass from Hell in US?

All 6 offers are Global, so the code redeems on any account no matter where it was created.

Is Hellmut: The Badass from Hell worth it?

Critics put it at 73 out of 100, though there are only 19 reviews published so far.

Why is there such an expensive Hellmut: The Badass from Hell offer?

One listing is worth ignoring: the Steam key that G2A has at €16.21 (€16.50 with fees) is more than 7 times the cheapest offer and is not what this game costs. The number to work from is €2.33 (no fees) at Steam.

Hellmut: The Badass from Hell is a game of action and shooting with frantic combat against all kinds of enemies. It all begins when the demons transform us into a simple skull, but with our brains intact, and then we decide to recover our bodies. This mission has a cost, to descend to the depths of hell as we face the legions of evil.

We're going into deep dungeons in a continuous firestorm of bullets. Equipped with a robotic suit that will allow us to equip ourselves with arms and legs, we will face all kinds of bugs and demons with the latest in weaponry. Take control of multiple transformations and unlock new ones each time you complete the game. Challenge randomly generated bosses in the randomly generated world and defeat the demonic hordes.

As we advance through hell, we will find and unlock weapons that will be of great use to us to face the legions of demons, as well as special skills that will be of great use to us in the most difficult moments.
