About HELLCARD
Hellcard is a cooperative roguelike deckbuilder that can be played in both Singleplayer and Multiplayer modes. The game takes place in the paper dungeons known from Book of Demons, and its main mechanics revolve around deckbuilding and fast-paced tactical card battles.
If you are excited about HELLCARD, be sure to wishlist the game on Steam. Otherwise, consider wishlisting anyway - who knows, we might surprise you yet!
What makes HELLCARD unique and different from other deck-building games is that monster placement actually matters and can be used to your advantage.
HELLCARD supports co-op battles with up to three heroes facing the Archdemon's hordes. In singleplayer mode, you can descend into the dungeons solo or recruit computer-controlled companions. In multiplayer mode, your friends or strangers can help you battle the hordes of hell.
Return 2 Games is a series of unique mid-core games inspired by the golden days of PC gaming. Each R2G title is a tribute to a single hit game from the '90s: a reimagining of a single universal story for a brand-new audience, using modern means and innovative, often vastly simplified gameplay mechanics.
HELLCARD was first envisioned as a new game mode inside the Book of Demons universe, but we soon realized that its design is huge and that it should be executed as a stand-alone spin-off game. If you want to learn more about Return 2 Games or support us in the development of the series, visit the Supporter Pack store page. On release, HELLCARD will be a part of it.
How much does HELLCARD for PC cost right now?
HELLCARD for PC starts at €4.19 (€4.38 with fees) at Difmark, 82% under the €24.50 (no fees) of the official store — but that is a shared account, not a key of your own. If you want a key tied to your own account, the cheapest is €5.53 (€6.71 with fees) at Gamivo.
That €4.19 (€4.38 with fees) already includes the Gocdkeys coupon, so apply it at checkout or the store will show you a higher price.
With 15 offers across 8 stores there is enough competition for the price to move, so the gap between the cheapest and the rest is worth checking before you buy.
That puts it 28% under its average of €9.60 since 2023, so today is a better entry point than most days of its life.

Is it worth buying the Steam Key for HELLCARD now or waiting?
That €5.53 (€6.71 with fees) key is at its usual price: no bargain, no spike.
- Those €5.53 (€6.71 with fees) are 21% below what it usually costs, measured on the store price.
- Only 6 stores sell the Steam Key, and with that little competition the price barely moves.
- Not counting today, 103 days out of the 329 days on record were this cheap or cheaper; the lowest it has ever cost is €4.24.
Worked out from 1,535 daily records of the Steam Key for HELLCARD across 12 stores. See the full price history.
The price does not include each store's payment fees. The percentage is measured on the store price, without coupons, because that is how we record the history. The analysis only counts Key offers. Shared accounts, Steam Gift and physical editions stay out, because they are not the same product and their prices move differently.
Which HELLCARD format should you buy?
With the shared account at Difmark you log into an account that already owns the game: it is the cheapest route, but it never becomes yours and the seller keeps the credentials. If they ever lose or change them, you lose access.
The key at Gamivo costs €1.34 (€2.33 with fees) more, but you redeem it on your own account and the game stays there for good. That is the difference between renting and buying.
The 7 Steam Gift offers are pricier than the key and leave more room for error, because they depend on the region and on Steam friendship.
Can you activate HELLCARD in US?
11 of the 15 offers work on US — the Global ones plus the ones issued for your own region.
Why is there such an expensive HELLCARD offer?
One listing is worth ignoring: the Steam gift that K4G has at €23.85 (€26.28 with fees) is more than 6 times the cheapest offer and is not what this game costs. The number to work from is €5.53 (€6.71 with fees) at Gamivo.
