It tends to drop around the same time of year: its sales have landed in September, April and July.
It has been this cheap or cheaper about half the days we have been tracking it.
Its 3 drops were in September, April and July, so that is what it has done so far, not a forecast.
The next one is not due until July next year.
Gunborg Dark Matters for Xbox One starts at €3.60 (€4.01 with fees) at Key4Games, 73% under the €14.99 (no fees) of the official store — but that is a shared account, not a key of your own. If you want a key tied to your own account, the cheapest is €14.99 (no fees) at Microsoft Store ES.
That €3.60 (€4.01 with fees) already includes the GOCDKEYS15 coupon, so apply it at checkout or the store will show you a higher price.
Just 5 stores stock it, 5 offers in all, so there is little here to push the price either way.
That puts it 26% under its average of €20.36 since 2023, so today is a better entry point than most days of its life.
Worth knowing before you click: Key4Games is cheapest at €3.60 (€4.01 with fees) but has only 1 Trustpilot reviews behind it. If that thin track record bothers you, Difmark has the same shared account at €4.19 (€4.38 with fees) with 14.2k reviews and a 4.1 out of 5.
What you can actually buy today: an Xbox Key from €14.99 (no fees) at Microsoft Store ES, which you redeem yourself and leaves the game on your own account and a shared account from €3.60 (€4.01 with fees) at Key4Games, where you log in with the seller credentials instead of owning it.
The shared account at €3.60 (€4.01 with fees) undercuts the key at €14.99 (no fees) by €11.39 (€10.98 with fees), but on an account the game stays tied to credentials the seller controls; for €11.39 (€10.98 with fees) the key is yours and nobody can take it back.
3 of the 5 offers work on US — the Global ones plus the ones issued for your own region.
Critics put it at 78 out of 100, though there are only 17 reviews published so far.
One listing is worth ignoring: the Xbox key that Difmark Digital Keys has at €36.51 (€38.15 with fees) is more than 9 times the cheapest offer and is not what this game costs. The number to work from is €14.99 (no fees) at Microsoft Store ES.
There is no third-party key on offer today, so the choice is between the shared account at €3.60 (€4.01 with fees) at Key4Games — cheap, but the game never becomes yours — and paying the official €14.99 (no fees) for a key on your own account. Either is defensible; just know which one you are picking.
