The classic proprietary physics engine Forts is known for has received a major upgrade with the addition of the new water system. Ships float with true buoyancy, listing to one side if off-balance. Any structure not connected to a reactor will sink to the ocean floor unless reconnected swiftly. The ocean surface features its own set of splash FX, water and bubbles particles, underwater explosions and sound effects. This tech opens up a whole new world of possibilities of gameplay and modding to an already very satisfying physics-based experience!

What do our users think of Forts High Seas for PC Digital?
I've been having an absolutely blast playing around with High Seas; it is, hands down an excellent expansion to the base game that adds a lot to the table. Having said that, it does have its fair share of issues. However, for starters, I'll talk about the good: The Good The Water - Probably the main selling point of the DLC, the entire meta is picked up and tipped on its head with the introduction of the exciting new water. Visually speaking, it's gorgeous, while neither detracting from the art around it or overpowering it.
