Feed The Pit is a story-driven investigative horror game where you join a mysterious society tasked with a grim purpose: hunting wealthy individuals in the haunted Carrister Valley and feeding their bodies to an ancient, insatiable entity. The game's core loop revolves around a unique card-based investigation system—you're given a limited hand of magical cards, each posing a specific question about your target's location. By strategically selecting which cards to play, you gradually narrow down the search area until only one possible location remains. No two investigations are identical, as the card draws vary with each mission.

The gameplay balances investigation with survival horror. As you hunt through the deadly forest, you must contend with relentless supernatural threats—each investigation introduces a different monster that actively pursues you, forcing you to study its behavior, take calculated risks, and find ways to survive while completing your objective. This creates a tense interplay between puzzle-solving and evasion, where failure means becoming the pit's next meal.

Feed The Pit combines several mechanical layers: the deductive card system drives the investigation phase, roguelite elements ensure unpredictability, and survival mechanics create constant pressure. The game's dark humor and rich lore reward exploration and careful observation. Acts 2 and 3 are planned as free updates, with Act 1 available at launch.

The title appeals to players seeking narrative-driven horror with mechanical depth—those who enjoy puzzle-solving under pressure, atmospheric dread, and games that respect player intelligence. It's designed for audiences who appreciate indie horror that prioritizes atmosphere and unique mechanics over jump scares, with a particular draw for fans of investigative gameplay and roguelite structure.
