FAITH: The Unholy Trinity is a classic of retro horror that evokes a shiver with its simple Atari design and 1980s CRT aesthetics. You must perform exorcisms against demonic forces as Father Ward using only a crucifix and your guile. Every playthrough of the game is especially upsetting because of its unpredictable graphics, unsettling FM synth music, and randomly generated scares. Its analog horror storytelling and parody VHS presentation (think Local 58 meets The Exorcist) elevate it above simple nostalgia. It's worse when a modern cult classic turns out to be less well-liked.
