Welcome to the bottom of the Steam page and since you're hear we can ramble on about the game
Is this a sokoban game? We'll in this game YOU are the blocks. But you also push around other blocks so I guess it is a sokoban puzzle game.
We even have a fully voiced, funny story that plays out throughout the 80 story levels. Will Dave make it through to the end?
Fun fact the game is called RORORORO (ロロロロ) in Japan which happens to be one of our most popular regions for the game. And the kanji ロ means mouth but also looks like our bots. And then ロロロロ could be also seen as "argument" so in hindsight we wish we called the game this from the start.
The game was made in Sydney Australia and started out as a Global Game Jam game. Hence the punny title which we just rolled with
We have the Nintendo Switch to thank for making this game not a complete financial failure but in the 7 years since release we've been able to maintain a constant trickle of sales and it's still been one of those "hidden gems" in the co-op puzzle genre.
Death Squared for PC starts at €0.36 at Eneba, a Steam key, which is 98% under the €14.79 it costs on the official store.
That €0.36 already includes the GOCDKEYS10 coupon, so apply it at checkout or the store will show you a higher price.
With 12 offers across 10 stores there is enough competition for the price to move, so the gap between the cheapest and the rest is worth checking before you buy.
That puts it 27% under its average of €0.55 since 2022, so today is a better entry point than most days of its life.
That €1.09 key is at one of its best prices.
Worked out from 347 daily records of the Steam Key for Death Squared across 4 stores. See the full price history.
The price does not include each store's payment fees. The percentage is measured on the store price, without coupons, because that is how we record the history. The analysis only counts Key offers. Shared accounts, Steam Gift and physical editions stay out, because they are not the same product and their prices move differently.
By format: Steam Key from €0.36 and Steam Gift from €20.29.
11 of the 12 offers work on US — the Global ones plus the ones issued for your own region.
51 outlets reviewed it and it averages 74 out of 100, with 63% recommending it.
One listing is worth ignoring: the Steam gift that G2A has at €20.29 is more than 56 times the cheapest offer and is not what this game costs. The number to work from is €0.36 at Eneba.
