What do our users think of Dark Souls 2 Scholar of the First Sin for PC Digital?
after playing this game, now i can understand why it is so hated by the community.Fromsoft soul games are recognised for having amazing bosses and this game is having the mentality of "quantity over quality".A lot of the bosses are boring and some of that are really annoying in a bad way.The hit boxes are bad and the ADP stat should not exist in the first place(that is why it got removed in the future games). But is this game bad?Depends how you see it.After all this game has some good stuff too.The atmosphere of the game, especially in Majula,is near perfection and the lore. One of the best in the series. But the hitboxes and bad bosses cant make me give this game more than 3 stars. Its ok but it wasn't really an enjoyable game
With its d enemy placements, enhanced graphics, and all DLCs installed, Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin really is an amplified edition of that ambitious but obviously flawed sequel. Although there are many build varieties in slow and sturdy combat, the world itself doesn't seem as coherently tiled like in the original. For Soul completists, it is, by all means, a rewarding but sometimes polarizing experience.
This is the most controversial chapter of Dark Souls serie. It came along with a more solid tecnical compart, infact the game is much more stable than the precedent chapter and even more than dark souls 3. On the gameplay it may be inferior to the others chapters, due to the lack of variability of enemies, in particular with bosses, but where it shines is in it's replayebility, infact every character created has the chance to be unic and different from any others
i donno why people like this game :S
