Army General is a turnbased strategy game that depicts the desert warfare in Northern Afrika and parts of the Mediterranean sea during World War II.
Fight back the Italian invasion of Egypt in 1940 with the Desert Rats or advance to Suez with the Afrikakorps in 1941/42. Adjust your units to the challenges of each map by exchanging officers, equipment and subordinate units. Create your own maps and campaings for yourself or to share it with other players.

Army General is a turn-based strategy game that focuses on a specific period of World War II. We will be able to participate in the battles that took place in the north of Africa between the side of the Allies and the Germans.

We will be able to put ourselves in front of the famous Rats of the Desert of the English or to direct to the armored batallion of the Afrikakorps of the Germans, in battles in the desert and by the control of the territory.

What's so special about Army General?

Although at first glance it does not seem like a graphic masterpiece, it compensates it enormously with its simplicity, ease of use and depth, since there are many things that we can do. Even if it is a turn-based game, the truth is that in this title we will use all our strategic skills if we want to be victorious.

The maps are very detailed as well as combat animations and movement of our troops on the battlefield, which we will increase their rank as they gain experience in combat, which will make them more effective.

The units that we can deploy can be customized with many different characteristics, to create different types of units that can combat in certain special situations, which gives the game of a very interesting RPG component, being able to specialize certain platoons for a form of struggle concrete.

To lead our troops, and at the head of each platoon, it is always a good idea to have a person with leadership skills so that he can keep the soldiers together in complicated situations. This is where the officers come in, of which we will have a total of 420 officers from different countries and with different characteristics that will directly influence the behavior of our forces. In addition, these officers will endure through battles acquiring experience and unique abilities.

Between vehicles, tanks, pieces of artillery, ... We will have a total of 250 different units, both for ground combat, as by sea, and for air combat, including fighters, bombers and battleships with long guns capable of sweeping concrete areas of the battlefield. In addition, each unit has its own characteristics that will determine its effectiveness in battles, and adding all the different statistics there are a total of 58 special parameters for different types of units.

It has a single mode, consisting of a total of 25 missions for both sides, and in a multiplayer mode to be able to face other players for control of North Africa. In addition, we will have an extensive and complete tutorial to be able to practice and learn quickly the qualities of our units and their handling during the fighting.

The game comes with an extensive map editor with which we will create our own battlefields and share them with the whole community.
