About Actraiser Renaissance

ABOUT
Actraiser combines 2D platforming action (Realm Acts) with a City-building simulation (Realm Management) in the ultimate battle between good and evil!
Featuring the soundtrack that sent shockwaves through the gaming world when it was first released, composed by the legendary Yuzo Koshiro - now remastered!
Help humanity flourish by playing as the Lord of Light and their loyal angel in a world beset by evil.

NEW FEATURES
- Remastered 2D graphics present the game in beautiful HD
- 15 new music tracks, as well as re-arranged original tracks by Actraiser composer Yuzo Koshiro!
- New stories, expanded action and realm management gameplay, additional action stages, an all-new realm, and a new, powerful boss!
- Auto-save and difficulty levels

Realm Acts: Strategically cast powerful fire, ice, and other magic in these 2D action stages. Humans return to reclaim the realm after you conquer these stages, allowing you to begin cultivating your settlements.
New magic that was not available in the original game has been added along with the ability to dodge. Players can also attack with upward and downward motions for a more dynamic action experience. You will need every new trick in your arsenal to defeat stronger bosses at the end of the new action stages.
Realm Management: Help humanity flourish by cultivating your settlements and offering guidance. Use your miraculous powers to summon lightning and trigger earthquakes to remove obstacles such as trees and boulders that impede the growth of your chosen. Play as the Lord of Light's angel and use your mighty bow and arrows to drive back the evil monsters that prey on your people.
Protect your settlements from enemy raids in real-time strategic battles. The placement of your forts and timing of your miracles is key to achieving victory in these engagements.
Experience all-new tales of humanity's struggles to overcome their flaws and failings as they learn to love one another and together grow stronger. Altogether, these new scenarios amount to more than twice the story present in the original. Explore the vast new realm and enjoy building your settlements for longer than ever before!

The original Actraiser composer, Yuzo Koshiro, has re-arranged all of the iconic original tracks and added 15 new tracks as well. Players can listen to the original music or switch to the re-arranged versions while playing the game. Tired from protecting and raising your villagers? Then just sit back, relax, and enjoy the tunes.

How much does Actraiser Renaissance for PC cost right now?
Actraiser Renaissance for PC starts at €6.88 (€7.19 with fees) at Difmark, 76% under the €29.99 (no fees) of the official store — but that is a shared account, not a key of your own. If you want a key tied to your own account, the cheapest is €8.81 (€9.88 with fees) at Gameseal.
That €6.88 (€7.19 with fees) already includes the Gocdkeys coupon, so apply it at checkout or the store will show you a higher price.
With 22 offers across 15 stores there is enough competition for the price to move, so the gap between the cheapest and the rest is worth checking before you buy.
That puts it 7% under its average of €11.43 since 2023, so today is a better entry point than most days of its life.
Is it worth buying the Steam Key for Actraiser Renaissance now or waiting?
That €8.81 (€9.88 with fees) key is at one of its best prices.
- Those €8.81 (€9.88 with fees) are 37% below what it usually costs, measured on the store price.
- 14 stores sell the Steam Key at the same time, and with that much competition the price moves almost daily.
- Not counting today, only 8 days out of the 1,220 days on record were this cheap or cheaper; the lowest it has ever cost is €9.48.
Worked out from 3,436 daily records of the Steam Key for Actraiser Renaissance across 19 stores. See the full price history.
The price does not include each store's payment fees. The percentage is measured on the store price, without coupons, because that is how we record the history. The analysis only counts Key offers. Shared accounts, Steam Gift and physical editions stay out, because they are not the same product and their prices move differently.
Which Actraiser Renaissance format should you buy?
With the shared account at Difmark you log into an account that already owns the game: it is the cheapest route, but it never becomes yours and the seller keeps the credentials. If they ever lose or change them, you lose access.
The key at Gameseal costs €1.93 (€2.69 with fees) more, but you redeem it on your own account and the game stays there for good. That is the difference between renting and buying.
The 6 Steam Gift offers are pricier than the key and leave more room for error, because they depend on the region and on Steam friendship.
Can you activate Actraiser Renaissance in US?
18 of the 22 offers work on US — the Global ones plus the ones issued for your own region.
Is Actraiser Renaissance worth it?
Critics landed at 73 out of 100 across 38 reviews, with 44% of them recommending it.

What do our users think of Actraiser Renaissance for PC Digital?
This game is a toughtful remaster of a classic which combines side-scroll platforming and city-builder god sim. It has beautiful pixel art, accompanied by an orchestral score. Some may struggle with the pacing as older mechanics are revisited. Worth giving a try.
