What's new in the July 4 Crimson Desert update?

Released on 4 July 2026, update Version 1.13.00 is one of the most substantial patches Crimson Desert has had since launch, expanding both the roster and the endgame. The headline change is that both Oongka and Damiane can now enter the Abyss, and the Memory Fragment locations for several rematchable bosses have been reshuffled to keep the challenge fresh.

Gear hunters get the most out of this one: 39 new pieces of equipment were added for Kliff and Oongka, including boss equipment, and Oongka can now wear most of the outfits previously reserved for Kliff. There are also new special attacks for the Flame Knight, Wyvernflames, Savage Fang and Goldenscale Bandits, giving veteran players fresh fights to master.

On the quality-of-life side, summoned pets will now rest together with your character when you sleep in a bed, a new "Hunter's Sigil" item lets a bird companion retrieve prey and gatherables suited to its specialty, and a "Hide Minimap and Status" toggle arrives under Settings. Rounding it out are craftable carpets, improved firefly gathering and smoother puzzle-solving for Oongka. It is a free update for everyone who already owns the game.
