The Game:

Here is a sandbox like no other. Create massive battles with absolutely no limits. Want to see 10,000 chickens fight an army of Romans?? Sure, why not. Want to see a company of WW2 U.S soldiers fight 11,000 Medieval soldiers?? There are simply no limits to the carnage you can achieve in Epic Battle Simulator. Mess around with a massive variety of units. Everything from, Roman Centurions, Medieval soldiers, Knights, Orcs, Trolls, and yes, chickens! The main focus in this game is giving the player no restrictions to what he can do. That is why we decided not to limit the amount of units in battle. Want to see what a battle of 100,000 units looks like? We don't recommend going past 10,000 for most machines but its your CPU, do what you want! On top of that, you can play as any one of the units in the game, getting up close and personal to help change the tides of a massive battle, while rallying teammates and giving them orders!

The Technology:

Unfortunately there really aren't many engines that you can chuck 10,000 characters in and expect good performance. This is why I worked months on end to create the most powerful crowd rendering system ever conceived in Unity engine. The detail of each character has little effect on performance while each individual acts independently, but is working towards a greater good for his team. Each individual decides his own path and navigates complex environments. But I didn't stop there! With the large open environments, I needed a more dynamic lighting solution than the one built in to Unity engine. So I built my own dynamic global illumination lighting engine. This enables bounce light completely in real time. What does that mean? That means every piece of shiny armor is reflecting it's true surroundings, every bright surfaces illuminates it's surroundings and effects the overall lighting.

Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator, better known as UEBS, is a massive simulator of massive battles in which we can face immense armies composed of tens of thousands of soldiers in epic and bloody battles.

It is a sandbox in which we can unleash all our imagination, and in which we can form armies composed of soldiers and warriors of all kinds, from any era, and even with fantastic beings like orcs, goblins and even trolls. The game does not have an established limit as far as the number of units to be deployed in the battlefields, reason why this will be limited by the power of our computers.

But where true fun is, we´ll can directly control any of the units that form our immense armies, allowing us to take the reins of the battle directly from a third person view. With this we will incarnate any of our warriors and start exterminating our enemies where the battle is more bloody.

To recreate these immense battles the Unity engine has been used, which allows to enjoy a quite acceptable graphic level. Effects of shadows, luminosity, ... and an extensive list of effects that will allow us to enjoy truly spectacular battles.
If you are a lovers of strategy games and massive battles between armies this game is for you, as it combines the best of strategy games with an action system with which we can direct our soldiers individually. A real breath of fresh air to this genre. Do not forget that this game is in "Early Access" phase which means that the game is still in development and so we may find errors or bugs that will be solved over time.

It seems a very interesting idea for a game of this type, rarely seen, at least in my case had never seen anything like it. Putting together huge armies of all kinds and then focusing on a single soldier at a specific battle point seems like a very attractive idea to me. Although it is true that the game is in early access, and it has some flaws, something totally normal in this type of games, I am sure that as soon as you purify it a little will be a very remarkable game. Nothing more to say, simply that I love the concept. I hope that with the help of the whole community, that every day is bigger in this game, start to launch mods and we can totally customize it with new armies of all type. A game I'm sure will give a lot to talk about.
