Sister Other Paranoia is a dark psychological visual novel about an isolated aspiring light novel author who develops the ability to read minds. The story follows a quiet first-year university student who possesses a strange ability to perceive the emotional "colors" of those around him. Seeking refuge from his volatile parents and the pressures of everyday life, he isolates himself with his exceptionally talented younger sister. Together, they spend their days reading books and working on his light novel projects.

Unable to cope with the thoughts of those around him, he withdraws from society, finding solace only in his younger sister as the pair fall into an increasingly unhealthy codependent relationship. His paranoia and distrust intensify after his writing unexpectedly earns a newcomer award. Growing envy and hostility from both online communities and people in his daily life gradually push him toward psychological collapse. As his mental state deteriorates, the protagonist begins experiencing increasingly violent impulses toward those around him.

The gameplay is an old-school, straight-up classic visual novel. The text fills the entire screen, so read as much as you want—or just right-click to hide it and enjoy the art.
