Huni Kuin: Beya Xinã Bena is a 2D platform game about the ancient stories of the Huni Kuin indigenous people, who live in the Brazilian Amazon, produced in collaboration with the Huni Kuin communities of the Jordão river in Acre. The narrative follows a pair of Kaxinawá twins conceived by the anaconda spirit Yube, who inherited special powers. A young hunter and artisan progress through challenges to become a healer and master of drawings, acquiring knowledge from ancestors, animals, plants, and spirits while communicating with the visible and invisible forest beings to become true Huni Kuin.

Gameplay involves exploring 2D platforming stages filled with Amazon rainforest obstacles and wildlife, using bow and arrow, club or spear, while respecting the Yuxibu (Forest Great Spirit) and discovering the strength of Nixi Pae and Dume Deshke. Players face powerful enemies including harpy eagles, giant owls, scorpion kings, bridge alligators, and other fantastic creatures and enchanted beings. The full version includes seven phases across multiple stories, requiring several hours to complete all stages.

The game features original drawings by the Beya Xinã Bena group with narration in the Huni Kuin language, Hátxa Kuï. Approximately 30 indigenous collaborators contributed to production including researchers, artists, and filmmakers. Indigenous artists created roughly 100 drawings for the game, while native songs fundamental to village rituals and agricultural activities were incorporated into the audio composition, with the soundtrack featuring music from the Mae Inini – Power of the Earth album created through collaboration between the Huni Kuin and the Amazon Ensemble.

This partnership with the Beya Xinã Bena collective aims to provide immersion in indigenous knowledge including songs, drawings, stories, myths, and rituals. The collective was formed in 2014 to gather, promote, and disseminate audiovisual productions linked to the digital technologies of the Huni Kuĩ of Rio Jordão. The game serves both as entertainment and as a vehicle for preserving and circulating Huni Kuin cultural knowledge to younger generations and audiences beyond the indigenous territories.
